Azadi Cup Tenpin Bowling Championship to start on August 8

Sports Bulletin ReportIslamabad: Azadi Cup Tenpin Bowling Championship will start from August 8, under the auspices of the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) at Leisure City Bowling Club, Safa Gold, F-7 Markaz, Islamabad.This was stated by Secretary General, Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation, Lt. Col (Retd) Kamran Khalid Janjua on Thursday.He said that President, Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation, Ijaz ur Rehman has approved to hold the Azadi Cup.He said that players from across the country would take part in nine different categories including Men's singles, men's doubles, Ladies singles, Amateur, team events, Deaf singles (Men and Women), take-takers and Media event.He said that the registration for the players to register their names. will be started/opened from August 1 to 7, through online. The players would register their names on email address; ptbfijaz@gmail.com. The draws of the championship will be opened on August 7, at 7.00 p.m.Col. Kamran Khalid, further, said that the concluding ceremony will be held on August 14 at 6.00 p.m. in which trophies, medals, certificates will be delivered to the winning players. PTBF elects Ijaz and Kamran Janjua president and secretary respectively

Islamabad (SBR): Ijaz -ur -Rehman and Lieutenant Colonel Retired Kamran Khalid Janjua have been elected as President and Secretary General of the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) respectively. According to an official: all the office bearers of the Pakistan Ten Pin Bowling Federation have been elected unopposed, as no papers have been submitted against them. The Election Commission has announced his unopposed success. According to the Pakistan Sports Board's supervision and the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Election Commission, Ijaz -ul -Rahman has been elected as President, while Aleem Agha and Asif Orakzai have been elected senior vice presidents, Mehboob -ur -Rehman and Mohammad Mohsin. In other officials Lieutenant Colonel Retired Kamran Khalid Janjua has been elected Secretary General, Mohammad Hussain Chhatta, Ramesh Ali and Shabbir Lashkarwala as Joint Secretaries, Shabbir Hussain and Rana Shahzad Akhtar were elected unopposed. The Election Commission has made it clear that the electoral process is being carried out in accordance with full transparency, the Constitution of the Federation, the relevant rules and regulations and the National Sports Policy 2005.

Ramadan Tenpin Bowling Championship starts on March 15

Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Ramadan Tenpin Bowling Championship 2025 will be rolled into action on March 15 (Saturday) under the auspices of Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) at the Leisure City Bowling Club, 6th Floor, Safa Gold Mall, F-7 Markaz Islamabad.President PTBF, Ijaz-ur-Rehman said: “All arrangements of the championship have been finalized. Mohammad Hussain Chattha has been appointed as Organizing Secretary for the tournament. Only one category, Singles Professional competition, will be held and all professional bowlers will eligible to take part in the championship.”

Ghazanfar Bilal wins National Tenpin Bowling Championship 2025

Abdullah AsjadISLAMABAD: The rising bowler, Ghazanfar Bilal has won the title of the 17th National Tenpin Bowling Championship, which concluded here at Safa Gold Bowling Club. Daniyal Shah and Anas Asif claimed 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Ghazanfar Bilal got first position with 369 points while Daniyal Shah obtained 2nd position with 356 points and Anas Asif bagged 3rd position with 346 points. Zeeshan Bhatti secured 4th position with 326 points. President, Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation, Ijaz ur Rehman, President, Sindh Tenpin Bowling Association, Aleem Agha, Secretary General, Pakistan Student Olympic Association, Rana Tanveer Ahmed and a large number of people were also present on the occasion.Ghazanfar Bilal received a cash prize of Rs. 100 thousand with a winner trophy and Daniyal Shah got Rs. 50 thousand. Anas Asif pocketed 25000 3rd position award while Zeeshan Bhatti received rupees ten thousand 4th position award. Similarly, 5th to 8th position holders got rupees five thousand each only. About 200 players including men and women took part in the championship.

Pakistan Open Championship: Daniyal Shah wins Singles title

Karachi (SBR): Daniyal Shah clinched the title of the Men’s Singles discipline of the 9th Pakistan Open Tenpin Bowling Championship 2024 here at Royal Rodel Club Defence.According to details, in the final round of open singles, Daniyal Shah won the first position and became the champion with a score of 629 after three games. Umeer got the second position with a score of 623 while Faisal Feroze got the third position with a score of 600. Ali Nauman got the fourth position with a score of 554, Ali Surya got the fifth position with a score of 540, Daniyal Ejaz got the sixth position with a score of 516, Hussain Ghatia got the seventh position with a score of 504 and Abid got the eighth position with a score of 482. After four games in the senior 40 plus final, Shabbir Lashkar got the first position with a total score of 833 and was declared the champion, Hussain Chatha came second with a score of 786 and Sajjad Shah took the third position with a score of 755. Wasim Akhtar was fourth in this category. Mohammad Hussain was fifth, Afzal Akhtar sixth, Aleem Agha seventh, Naveed Qadir eighth, Mushtaq Bamla ninth and Shahjahan Bhatti tenth.

Pakistan Open Bowling Championship 2024 to start on December 18

Danyal Ijaz wins ITBA Independence Tenpin Bowling Cup

ISLAMABAD (PR): Danyal Ijaz has won the title of the 6th Islamabad Tenpin Bowling Association (ITBA) Independence Tenpin Bowling Cup 2024, which was held at Leisure City Jinnah Park, Rawalpindi.General Secretary, Islamabad Tenpin Bowling Association, Saleem Baig was the chief guest and gave away the prizes. Danyal Ijaz obtained first position with 370 points and Waqas Parekh got 2nd position with 330 points while Rana Shehzad captured 3rd position.

Independent Bowling Tournament to start on August 13 in Karachi

The closing ceremony will take place on August 14, 2024.

Pakistan Masters Tenpin Bowling Championship to start on April 27

Zeeshan Bhatti becomes National Tenpin Bowling Champion

Abdul Jabbar FaisalRAWALPINDI: Rising bowler, Zeeshan Bhatti from Karachi has won the title of the Men's Singles title of the 16th Tenpin Bowling Championship after beating Waqas Abdul Qadir Parekh in the final here at Leisure City Bowling Club, Jinnah Park on Sunday night. Ali Nauman and Faisal Feroze got 3rd and 4th positions respectively.In the final, Zeeshan scored 358 points while Waqas Parekh managed 331 points, as it was the first appearance of Bhatti in the national championship. At the end of the final, Mohammad Riaz Khan Turkalani along with Colonel Hamad Khan and President of Pakistan Ten Pin Bowling Federation (PTBF) Ijaz-ur Rahman distributed prizes among the players. Secretary General PTBF Mohammad Hussain Chatta and Sindh Ten Pin Bowling Association President Aleem Agha were also present on this occasion.Ali Saldira and Ibrahim Saldira won the men's doubles event. In the men's doubles event, Shabbir Lashkarwala and Aleem Agha secured the second position while Ayan Bhatti and Waqas Parkh secured the third position. Ibrahim Saldira won the amateur title while Tayyab Bilal and Azazur Rahman secured the second and third positions respectively.Umar won the men's Deaf title while Wajid and Adeel finished second and third respectively while in the women's Deaf competition, Zahra got the first position, Noor Al-Ain got the second position, and Asma got the third position.National Champion Zeeshan Bhatti said: “I am happy with my performance and It was a tough competition, as the top-16 round players were good and well skilled. It was my first participation and I won the title it is great achievement for me at national level. I will focus on my game and will toil hard to represent Pakistan at international level”.Waqas Abdul Qadir Parekh said: “It was good final and Bhatti played well and he won the national championship. I congratulate him on this victory. The first round score was leveled 159-159 but he did well in the second round and hit a couple of strike to win the championship”.
