Shifa International Hospital Islamabad beat BHC XI by 75 runs
ISLAMABAD (PR): Shifa International Hospital Islamabad beat BHC XI by 75 runs in the frindly here at Daimond Cricket Ground Islamabad. BHC XI Captain won the toss and invited to bat first Shifa International, Shifa International bowled out for 201 in the 30th overs,Khateeb 44, Captain Qutab Uddin Qureshi 34, Tariq Shahzad 34, Imtiaz Alam 24 and Muhammad Ikram 14 runs were their leading run-getters. BHC XI Wajhat (4 for 23), Muneeb (2 for 35) and Saneer (1 for 30) were the other main wicket-takers. In reply, BHC XI was bowled out for 126 runs in the 29th overs, Asif (38), Kashif (21) and Nouman 13 were their main scorers. Shahzad Kiani bowled well and claimed 4 wickets for 09 runs in 3 overs, while Imtiaz Alam (3 for 15), Tariq Shahzad (2 for 13) and Syed Mudassar Bukhari (1 for 22) bowled well for Shifa International. Shahzad Kiani declared “Man of the Match” for his impressive Performance.

Sports ReportISLAMABAD: Shifa International Hospitals Islamabad beat 5 Pillars Cricket Club Rawalpindi by 7 wickets in the friendly T-20 Cricket match here at Ghouri Cricket Ground Islamabad.Shifa International Captain won the toss and invited to bat first 5 Pillars, 5 Pillars hit up 125 for loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Waseem (20), Sohiab (17) and Abdul Wahdi (16) were the key contributors. Shifa International Syed Mudassar Bukhari (2 for 12), Imtiaz Alam (2 for15) and Tahir Akhtar (2 for 36) were the other main wicket-takers. In reply, Shifa International achieved the target in the 17th over for the loss of three wickets. Tahir Akhtar and Captain Qutab Uddin Qureshi contributed 93 runs in 3rd wicket partnership. Allrounder Tahir Akhtar 44 not out runs 42 balls with 8 Fours, Master Blaster Captain 43 runs 41 balls with 8 fours, while Khateeb 12 not out and Imtiaz Alam 10 were their leading run-getters.

Owais Autos overcome CWC XIs by 20 runs in the final, Asharf gets honourSports Bulletin ReportKARACHI: Owais Autos team defeated CWC XIs by 20 runs in the final of the Solidarity Kashmir Cricket Cup at Moin Khan Academy.Captain of the Owais Autos Talha Ahmed Butt won the first toss and decided to bat first, as the batter managed 164 for 8 runs in 20 overs per innings fixture. A brilliant game was shown by Ashraf Khan, Alam Zeib, and Mohammad Sufyan. CWC XIs could score 144 runs.Chief guest presented trophies to Owais Autos team's best captain and best bowler Talha Ahmed Butt, best batsman Alamzeb and man of the match Ashraf Khan along with winner and runner-up trophies.

Ghani Ur RehmanPESHAWAR: A rising and talented junior cricketer of Peshawar, Mohammad Zaid Khalji has been touching the heights of cricket by showing his performance by scoring 6 tons and 24 half centuries in the current season.This talented cricketer, who plays in the Student Cricket Academy Gymkhana under the supervision of Coach Fakhar Alam, Mohammad Zaid Khalji has created a big name in a short period of time. Zaid Khalji, who is known for being a run machine, scored 142 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 16 fours against the Tribal Cricket Academy like every match. He surprised everyone by scoring runs.Zaid Khalji expressed his determination that he would make the name of Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bright in the field of cricket. Cricket News: Scrutiny of Islamabad Cricket Region’s clubs completes
Abdul Ghaffar KhanISLAMABAD: The scrutiny of the Islamabad Region’s clubs was conducted under the supervision of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Arbab Altaf here, as clubs participated in the process enthusiastically.According to the details, Zaka Ashraf, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board last week, asked to re-scrutiny after the completion of the time according to the Pakistan Cricket Board 2014 rules. Scrutiny of zones has been completed. Pakistan Cricket Board Scrutiny Committee Chairman Babar Altaf supervised it in a very friendly atmosphere. Scrutiny under the supervision of the chairman Aabar Altaf declared clean and transparent by all club members of Islamabad regions and paid tribute to the PCB for providing full opportunities to all the club owners to present all the records of their clubs.

Right-handed batter scored 50 runs in unbeaten innings against SCA’s boys’ elevens, as her innings was laced with six boundaries.At the end of the match, president Shalimar Cricket Academy President Raja Mohammad Tahir awarded a prize of Rs 1000 to Maham Anis for her outstanding batting performance.

AZ Real Estate Islamabad win Naya Nazimabad Bankers Cup
Sports Bulletin Report KARACHI: AZ Real Estate Islamabad have won the title of the Naya Nazimabad Bankers Cup Ramadan Cricket Tournament by defeating Attock Sports Karachi by five wicketsin the final on Sunday night under electric lights here at Naya Nazimabad Cricket Stadium. Attock Sports batted first and scored 178 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted twenty overs. Jahanzeb Sultan played an aggressive innings of 64 runs with the help of four sixes and four fours off 46 balls. Shahid Mirani scored 31 runs and Shahid Mirani scored 23 runs. Zeeshan Malik dismissed two players. In reply, AZ Real Estate Islamabad achieved their target at the loss of five wickets in the last over of the final match. Opener Owais Zia played an important role in the victory of his team by scoring 84 runs with the help of four sixes and nine fours. Zeeshan Malik scored 31 runs and Ali Imran scored 30 runs. Chief guest Director General, Rangers Sindh Major General Azhar Waqas, Chairman New Nazimabad Arif Habib, President Bank Al Falah Atif Aslam Bajwa, President Sindh Bank Imran Samad, famous actor Fahad Mustafa, CEO Samad Habib, President Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana Syed Muhammad Talha along with a large number of fans watched the final match. Attock Sports and AZ Real Estate Islamabad teams reach in semifinals
Sports Bulletin Report KARACHI: The Attock Sports and AZ Real Estate Islamabad teams have moved into the semifinals of Naya Nazimabad Bankers Cup Ramadan Cricket Tournament after winning their respective quarterfinal matches here. The last two quarter-finals at the Naya Nazimabad Cricket Stadium were low-scoring. Attock Sports defeated Arham CC by 27 runs. Attock Sports posted 130 runs on the board. Shoaib Ahmed played an innings of fifty-three runs off thirty-one balls. Nihal Rashid and Waleed Azim dismissed two players each. In response, the team of Arham Cricket Club was dismissed on 103 runs. Kashif Bhatti took four wickets and Shahid Mirani took two wickets. Chief guest Faisal Bank President Yousuf Hussain presented Man of the Match Award to Shoaib Ahmed of Attock Sports. Yusuf Hussain said that his organization would continue to sponsor sports. On this occasion, Chairman Naya Nazimabad Arif Habib said that he wished that Naya Nazimabad was introduced as a sports city. Later in the fourth quarter-final, AZ Real Estate Islamabad overcame Hella Dos team by 2 runs in an exciting contest. AZ Real Estate scored 126 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the stipulated overs. Owais Zia scored 25 runs and Rizwan Ali scored 22 runs. Tahir Wazir took two wickets. In pursuit of the target, Hella Doss team scored 124 runs for nine wickets. Obaid Ibrahim scored fifty two runs. Mohammad Azan took three wickets while Mohammad Ismail and Abdullah Amin took two wickets each. Abdullah Amin was declared Man of the Match. The final of the tournament will be played on Sunday.

Omar Associates and Kent Warriors qualified for the semifinals Sports Bulletin Report KARACHI: The Omar Associates and Kent Warriors have qualified for the semifinals of the Naya Nazimabad Bankers Cup Ramadan Cricket Tournament after winning their respective quarterfinal matches here at Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana cricket ground on Friday. Real Time Islamabad scored only 91 runs in 20 overs after batting first, as Asad Afridi was the top scorer with 30 runs. Ghulam Mudassar got 2 wickets while Mohammad Asghar dismissed two batters. Omar Associates achieved the target at the loss of six wickets in the sixteenth over. Danish Aziz scored 25 runs, Usama Baloch scored 23 runs and Mohammad Nafee scored 20. Saadullah took three wickets. The chief guest Karachi Water and Sewerage Board Managing Director Engineer Syed Salahuddin presented the man of the match award to Ghulam Mudassar. CEO Naya Naizamabad Samad Habib and President Naya Naizamabad Gymkhana Syed Mohammad Talha were also present on this occasion. Later, in the second quarterfinal, Kent Warriors easily outclassed Passion Cricket Club by six wickets. The team of Passion Club, while batting, piled up for 84 runs in the 19th over. Lal Kumar took three wickets while Sohail Khan and Asif Mehmood took two wickets each. In response, Kent Warriors achieved the target in the twelfth over with the loss of four wickets. Akhtar Khan scored forty nine runs. Musa Malik dismissed two players. Lal Kumar was adjudged Man of the Match. Both the semi-finals of the tournament will be played on Saturday. The final will be on Sunday.

20-K Cup 2023: Ludhiana Gymkhana win coveted trophy
Sports Bulletin Report LAHORE: Ludhiana Gymkhana Cricket Club won the 20-K Cup 2023 T20 Cricket Tournament title after defeating Cricket Center Cricket Club by 47 runs in the final played here at the Model Town Greens Ground on Saturday. Ludhiana Gymkhana took a flying start as they stitched some good partnerships to pile up a decent total of 163 for 5 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Asim Ali Nasir was the hero of the match as he played a sensational knock of 54 runs off 35 balls that included a good number of boundaries and sixes.  The other key contributors from the winning team, who batted with authority and struck significant runs were Mohammad Waqas, hammered 48-ball 53 runs, and Fahad Munir, who slammed 27 runs. Mohammad Ali bowled well for Cricket Center Center and bagged two wickets for 32 runs while Usama Mir got one wicket. Cricket Center couldn’t chase the required target because of some irresponsible batting displays by their players, who also failed to create a big partnership that might save their sinking ship. The losing side could score just 116 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.  Bilawal Iqbal was top scorer from Cricket Center as he scored 32 runs off 27 balls while Ali Zafar played 26 balls to gather only 18 runs. No other batters could add significant runs in their team’s total, which lost the final by 47 runs. Kashif Saddiuqe bowled well and clinched three wickets for 12 runs while Muhammad Junaid grabbed three wickets for 31 and Intasar Ali got one wicket. Asim Ali Nasir emerged as player of the final. Speaking on the occasion, Nabeel Ahmad said that the purpose of conducting this event, which was named after my father Col Fateh Sher Khan, was to provide the club cricketers a big platform to showcase their talent and earn big prize money. “This event has not only encouraged the talented youth to exhibit their prowess while playing against first class and international players but also motivated the club organizers to hold such huge club cricket events in professional manner with the aim of taking club cricket to new heights. “I will continue to support club cricket in Pakistan and besides holding this annual event, I will also try to provide some other big opportunities to them so that they may excel at higher level and earn good name and international laurels for Pakistan,” said Nabeel, who himself is a first class cricketer.
