Karachi Open Squash Championship: Shahjahan Khan thrashes Tayyab Aslam 3-2

ISLAMABAD:-US lad, Shahjahan Khan got rid of Pakistan number one squash player Tayyab Aslam 3-2 in a well-contested five game thriller in the Karachi Open Squash Championship 2022 at Creek Club Squash Courts Karachi on Wednesday. The final score-line was 12-10, 7-11, 12-10, 8-11 and 11-5, as the match wasted 66 minutes.

Championship has reached in the quarterfinal stage, as all foreigner players have confirmed their berth in the top-eight stage of the top international squash showpiece, as the men’s event is pursuing prize money of US$ 50, 000. Besides Tayyab Aslam, Asim Khan and Mohammad Ashab Irfan succumbed under the pressure of high ranking overseas players. Now, rest of championship will be without any Pakistani player.
