Harare (Zimbabwe): Sri Lanka outclassed West Indies by 8 wickets in their last match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup Qualifier 2023 at Harare Sports Club on Friday.
The Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and decided to field first. West Indies all out in 48.1 overs at a total of 243 runs. Keacy Carty was the top scorer with 87 runs off 96 balls, as he hit 6 fours and 1 six. Johnson Charles made 39 runs with 3 fours and 2 sixes, Romario Shepherd smashed 26 runs with 3 boundaries, Kevin Sinclair made 25 runs with 2 fours. Maheesh Theekshana (4 for 34), Dushan Hemantha (2 for 49), Sahan Arachchige (1 for 18) were wicket-taker bowlers for Sri Lanka.
