LAHORE:-SA Gardens and MRF won the titles of the first PFF Men’s and Women’s National Futsal Cup 2023 at SA Gardens Futsal Field Lahore on Sunday night.
In the men's final, Hamza scored the first goal for SA Gardens in the first half, making the scoreboard 1-0. However, Yousaf from LA equalized the score 1-1in the second half, as both finalists retained same score till the final whistle. Asif scored an excellent goal for SA Gardens in extra time to guide his team to historical victory. The final score was 2-1.
Earlier, in the women’s final, MRF defeated TWK 5-2 to claim the title of national futsal showpiece. In the first half, Anmol Hira and Ghazala scored a goal each for MRF, putting them in a comfortable 2-0 lead. They maintained their momentum in the second half, with both players scoring another goal each for MRF. However, Dua and Samavia from TWK fought back and scored a goal each trying to equalize the game. But Anmol Hira displayed her exceptional skills once again, completing a hat trick and securing the win for MRF.
