Quetta: Ayyub Khan Khilji unanimously appointed Patron, while Aalam Din (International weightlifter) and Kashif Rehan (National weightlifter) were elected President and Secretary respectively, for a term of 4 years. Azhar Iqbal (National weightlifter) was elected Treasurer.
The elections were conducted by an election commission headed by Tariq Butt, an advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan. Najm-us-saeed and Tahir Mehmood, both International officials and players, and Ali Raza (Director National Training and Coaching Centre Quetta) also witnessed and supervised the elections.
