Patrons Aibak Polo Cup 2024: FG/Din Polo clinch trophy
FG/Din Polo beat Diamond Paints 4-3 in a thrilling final at Lahore Polo ClubLahore (SBR): FG/Din Polo emerged title winners in the Patrons Aibak Polo Cup 2024, defeating Diamond Paints 4-3 in the thrilling final at Lahore Polo Club on Sunday.The final marked the 48th edition of the historic Aibak Cup, hosted by Lahore Polo Club, and attracted a large audience of spectators and families. Prior to the final, various events were held, including a cavalcade, barrel racing, and tent pegging competitions for men and women. A match between the Lahore Polo Club's Young Ladies' Polo Team and the Young Boys' Polo Team also took place, with the girls securing the victory.The tournament's distinguished patrons in attendance included Salman of Overdose, Mir Shoaib Ahmed (CEO of Diamond Paints), Farooq Amin Sufi (Director Marketing, Master Paints), Dr. Faisal Qadeer Khokhar (Director, Remington Pharma), Taimur Ali Malik (Director, Guard Group), Mohammad Abubakar Siddique (Director, Black Horse Paints), Qadeer Ashfaq (Director, Platinum Homes), Sardar Mohsin Atta Khosa (Pebble Breakers), Nafees Barry (Director, The Retro Bar), along with Lahore Polo Club Executive Committee members Mohammad Naseer, Raja Amir, Adnan Hayat Noon, Saqib Khan Khakwani, senior club member Irfan Ali Hyder, Major Janoed Muazz, Najaf Shah, and a significant number of players.In a thrilling final, FG/Din Polo's Mian Abbas Mukhtar scored two goals, while Shaikh Mohammad Farhad and Raja Mikael Sami contributed one goal each to secure their team's win. For Diamond Paints, Raja Jalal Arsalan scored two goals, and Mir Huzaifa Ahmed added one.Earlier, in the subsidiary final, Newage Cables defeated BN Polo 6-4. During the closing ceremony, the patrons distributed prizes among the winners and top performers. Raja Mikael Sami was named the best player of the match, while Mian Abbas Mukhtar was honored as the best patron. The best pony award went to Abbas Mukhtar's mare.

Diamond Paints down FG/Din Polo to lift the Misha & Ibrahim Cup trophy
Sports Bulletin ReportLAHORE; Team Diamond Paints edged out FG/Din Polo with a 6-5 victory to secure the coveted Misha & Ibrahim Polo Cup 2024 trophy. The thrilling showdown kept spectators on the edge of their seats as Diamond Paints clinched the title victory in the final moments on Sunday. The guest of honor for the event was Reinhold Jakobi, Head of Nestlé Professional Business Switzerland, alongside Jason Avanceña, CEO of Nestlé Pakistan. Other notable attendees included members of the Lahore Polo Club Executive Committee: Mohammad Nasir, Feroze Gulzar, and Secretary Lt Col (R) Amir Umar, among others. A large crowd of spectators and families also gathered at Lahore Polo Club to witness and enjoy the intense final. Raja Jalal Arslan and Chaudhry Hayat Mehmood each converted three goals for Diamond Paints. For FG/Din Polo, brothers Farhad Shaikh and Rafay Shaikh slammed in two goals each, while Raja Mikael Sami added one goal. Ch. Hayat Mehmood opened strongly for Diamond Paints, scoring a remarkable field goal, but FG/Din Polo quickly responded with two consecutive goals to secure a 2-1 lead. In the second chukker, FG/Din Polo extended their advantage to 3-1. However, Diamond Paints mounted a spirited comeback, scoring twice in succession to even the score at 3-3. The third chukker remained tightly contested, with each team adding a goal to bring the score to 4-4. The fourth and deciding chukker saw FG/Din Polo take a slight edge as Raja Mikael Sami netted a goal, making it 5-4. Yet, in a thrilling final push, Team Diamond Paints rose to the occasion. Ch Hayat Mehmood and Raja Jalal Arslan scored back-to-back goals in the closing moments, sealing an incredible comeback and clinching the prestigious Misha & Ibrahim Polo Cup 2024 trophy for Diamond Paints. Earlier in the subsidiary final, Seafa Logistics International claimed victory over Total Nutrition with a half-goal handicap, finishing 7½-7 to win the subsidiary final.

Misha & Ibrahim Polo Cup: FG/Din Polo qualify for main final
LAHORE (PR): FG/Din Polo qualified for the main final of the Misha & Ibrahim Polo Cup 2024 after defeating Rijas/Platinum Homes in a nerve-jangling contest at Lahore Polo Club on Friday.Large crowds, including families and enthusiastic spectators, gathered at the Lahore Polo Club to enjoy the action-packed games. Sponsors Misha and Ibrahim, along with their families, were also present to support the event.The first match of the day proved a thrilling encounter, where FG/Din Polo, after an intense battle, edged out Rijas/Platinum Homes by a narrow margin of 7-6½. For FG/Din Polo, Raja Mikael Sami emerged as hero of the match as he played outstanding polo and smashed in four superb goals while his teammate Mian Abbas Mukhtar added three in the team’s tally.For Rijas/Platinum Homes, Bilal Noon also played well and fired in fabulous four goals, and Mohib Faisal Shahzad contributed two, but they, despite having one handicap goal advantage, couldn’t finish the match well, thus losing it with a margin of just a half goal. FG/Din Polo will now face Diamond Paints in the main final.In the second match, Total Nutrition defeated Sheikhoo Steel with a score of 9-5 in a competitive encounter. Raja Jalal Arsalan, filling in for Saqib Khan Khakwani, led Total Nutrition with four goals, while Bilal Haye scored three, and Usman Haye contributed two. For Sheikhoo Steel, Agha Musa Ali Khan and Osman Aziz Anwar each scored two goals, while Maisam Haider Baloch added one. Total Nutrition will now compete against Seafa Logistics International in the subsidiary final.

Rijas/Platinum Homes, FG/Din Polo record wins in Meesha & Ibrahim Polo Cup
Lahore (October 30, 2024): Rijas/Platinum Homes and FG/Din Polo recorded victories on the second day of the Meesha & Ibrahim Polo Cup 2024 at the Lahore Polo Club on Wednesday.  Exciting six-goal tournament matches are ongoing at Lahore Polo Club, attended by club president Malik Azam Hayat Noon, members, the club secretary, and a good turnout of families. In the first match of the day, Rijas/Platinum Homes narrowly defeated Sheikhoo Steel with a score of 6-5. For Rijas/Platinum Homes, Bilal Noon played superb polo and fired in fabulous four goals while Mohib Faisal Shehzad added two. For Sheikhoo Steel, Maisam Haider struck two goals, and Taimur Noon and Ali Kuli Khan contributed one goal each. The second match of the day saw FG/Din Polo clinch victory over Total Nutrition in the final moments, winning the nail-biting encounter with a margin of 8-7. Raja Mikael Sami led FG/Din Polo with sparkling five goals, while Farhad Shaikh banged in a brace and Raffay Shaikh added one.  For Total Nutrition, Saqib Khan Khakwani played extremely well and converted superb four goals, and Bilal Hayee contributed three but their efforts couldn’t bear fruit for their side. Two more important matches are scheduled on Thursday (October 31, 2024).

Misha & Ibrahim Polo Cup 2024 starts at Lahore Polo Club
Lahore (PR): The Misha & Ibrahim Polo Cup 2024, organized by the Lahore Polo Club, kicked off with great excitement. On the opening day, two thrilling matches were held, drawing a significant number of spectators and families. Lahore Polo Club President Malik Azam Hayat Noon, Executive Committee members, Secretary Col Amir, and other officials were present to witness the games. In the first match of the opening day, Diamond Paints defeated Seafa Logistics International with a score of 10-5½. Raja Jalal Arsalan was the standout player for Diamond Paints, hammering seven goals, while Mir Huzaifa Ahmed contributed with three goals. For Seafa Logistics International, Raja Samiullah converted all four goals for his team, with an additional handicap advantage of one and a half goals. In the second match of the day, Newage Cables triumphed over Guard Group with a score of 10-3½. Abdul Rehman Monnoo led the charge for Newage Cables, scoring six goals, while Omar Asjad Malhi added four goals. For Guard Group, Taimur Ali Malik scored two goals, and Ahmed Bilal Riaz added one goal. The tournament will continue on Wednesday, with Sheikhoo Steel facing Rijas/Platinum Homes at 2:30 pm, followed by Total Nutrition competing against FG/Din Polo at 3:30 pm.

Lahore Polo: Security 2000, MP/Sheikhoo, Newage, TN dominate on day 3
Sports Bulletin ReportLAHORE: Security 2000, Master Paints/Sheikhoo Steel, Newage Cables and Total Nutrition dominated the third day of the Lahore Smart City Polo in Pink Tournament, organized by Lahore Polo Club. Present at the event were officials from Lahore Smart City, Pink Ribbon Pakistan, families, Lahore Polo Club President Malik Azam Hayat Noon, executive committee members, and others. In the first match of the day, Security 2000 defeated Rijas/Barry's team 7-4½. For Security 2000, Muhammad Ali emerged as top scorer with a contribution of fabulous five goals, while Mir Huzaifa Ahmed, playing in place of Farhad Shaikh, thrashed in two goals. For Rijas/Barry's, Mohib Faisal Shehzad converted two goals, while Mumtaz Abbas and Nafees Barry struck one goal each. The second match saw Master Paints/Sheikhoo Steel triumph over Crew Logix Technologies with a score of 9-5. For Master Paints, Raja Temur Nadeem and Maria Candelaria each hammered a hat-trick of goals while Sufi Haroon banged in a brace and Osman Aziz Anwar scored one goal. From Crew Logix Technologies, Malik Ali Kuli Khan, Haris Haroon Malik, and Mahnum Faisal each scored a goal, while they had a two-goal handicap advantage. In another exciting match of the day, Newage Cables overpowered Olympia 9-4. For Newage Cables, Raja Samiullah smashed in superb six goals, and Alman Jaleel Azam, Adnan Jaleel Azam, and Jade Wheeler contributed with one goal each. The day's last match proved a high-scoring affair, where Total Nutrition outpaced Nurpur Bandobast by a good margin of 13-8½. From the winning team, Saqib Khan Khakwani emerged as top scorer as he fired in five fabulous goals while Eesha Haye and Usman Haye thrashed in three goals each, and Ahmed Zubair Butt banged in a brace. From the losing side, the major contribution came from Taimur Hayat Noon with a contribution of five goals while his teammate Gussey banged in a brace.

The matches attracted a large crowd of spectators and families. The event was graced by the presence of Lahore Polo Club President Malik Azam Hayat Noon, Executive Committee members, Secretary Lt Col (Retd) Aamir, and several former players. In the first match of the day, FG/Din Polo defeated Lahore Smart City by 10-7. For FG/Din Polo, Raja Mikail Sami scored five goals, Mian Abbas Mukhtar and Rafi Sheikh each scored two, while Sahar Yaghoobi added one goal. For Lahore Smart City, Agha Musa Ali Khan smashed in five goals, while Farooq Amin Soofi and Bilal Hai contributed one goal each. In the second match, SQ Seagold outpaced One Degree, winning 9-4. English player Charlotte Sweeney fired in four goals for the winning side, while Azam Hayat Noon and Taimur Moazzam added two goals each. Adil Rao thrashed in two goals for One Degree, with the team also benefiting from a two-goal handicap advantage. The third match of the day was won by Guard Group/Zacky Farms, who defeated Black Horse Paints 8-5. Shah Qubilai Alam led Guard Group/Zacky Farms with superb six goals, while Taimur Ali Malik and Ahmed Bilal Riaz each scored one goal. For Black Horse Paints, Shah Shamyl Alam hammered three goals, and Chaudhary Hassan Mansoor added two. The fourth and last match of the day saw Platinum Homes emerge victorious over Diamond Paints with a 7-5 win. Pink Polo Cup: Master Paints beat Diamond Paints 7-5 in final
Sports Bulletin Report LAHORE: Lahore: Master Paints clinched the Pink Polo Cup 2024 title after defeating Diamond Paints 7-5 in an exciting final match held at Jinnah Polo Fields, Lahore. A large crowd of spectators gathered to witness the thrilling finale. The event's guest of honor was DG Rangers Punjab, Major General Muhammad Atif bin Akram. Also, in attendance were Major (R) Ali Taimoor, the club’s Secretary, polo players and numerous families enjoying the event. Before the final, a girls' exhibition match was held, followed by the inauguration of Pakistan's first major animal hospital, Round Lake Hospital. Additionally, thrilling tent-pegging competitions also took place. In the finale of the prestigious event, Master Paints emerged victorious after a closely fought contest. Amirreza Behboudi led the scoring for Master Paints with four goals, while Sufi Muhammad Haroon and Maria Candelaria added two and one goals, respectively. For Diamond Paints, Jalal Arslan scored three goals, and Mir Huzaifa Ahmed contributed two. Earlier in the subsidiary final, Sheikhoo Steel defeated Newage Cable by 5-4. From Sheikhoo Steel, Agha Musa played superb polo and thrashed in three goals while Sally Cactus and Osman Aziz Anwar converted one goal each. For Newage Cables, Omer Asjad Malhi struck two goals while Adnan Jalil Azam and Alman Jalil Azam scored one goal each.

Jinnah Gold Polo Cup 2024: DS Polo beat Olympia/AZB 7-4 in final

Max Charlton, DS Polo's standout player, led the charge with an impressive six goals, earning him the best player of the final award. His teammate, Ahmed Ali Tiwana, also contributed to the scoreboard with a goal, while Nicolas Corti and Novillo Astrada scored two goals each for Olympia/AZB Polo. The main final kicked off with both teams on an equal footing, each netting a goal to draw 1-1. In the second chukker, DS Polo revamped their strategy, embracing a more aggressive style of play that tipped the balance in their favor and secured them a 3-1 lead. Despite Olympia/AZB momentarily taking the lead at 4-3 in the third chukker, DS Polo swiftly equalized before the chukker concluded. The final and decisive chukker witnessed DS Polo's relentless push, as they fired in three consecutive goals to stylishly clinch the match with a 7-4 victory. Mark John Holmes and ABdul Sattar Khan officiated the main final as field umpires. The final also featured Max Charlton receiving the most valuable player award and Open Bursalino being named the best playing pony. Adding to the day's festivities were a heavy bike parade and javelin competitions for men and women, greatly entertaining the attendees. The event was honored by the presence of Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman, who, alongside Fatima Group Director Mian Abbas Mukhtar, awarded the winners and participants. Earlier in the subsidiary final, Team FG Polo narrowly edged out BN Polo with a scoreline of 6-5.
