Kirpa Super League: Sher Dhamiyal cricket team lift title
Professor, Dr Aamir Hanif Raja distributes prizes among the players’ hosts Kirpa remain secondISLAMABAD (PR): Sher Dhamiyal cricket team awarded the trophy of the 2nd Kirpa Super League (KSL) that concluded here at a local cricket ground, as the tap-ball tournament final could not be completed owing to rain. Professor, Dr Aamir Hanif Raja graced the closing ceremony as a chief guest and distributed the prizes among the players.Final was played between hosts Kirpa and Sher Dhamiyal on Sunday. Sher Dhamiyal players set a 160 runs target for hosts in 15 overs. A spell of rain halted the proceeding of hosts and match ended without any result. As a good gesture, hosts decided to award the trophy to visiting team Sher Dhamiyal. Raja Adnan, the captain of Sher Dhamiyal received the winning trophy.The tournament was started on May 28, 2024, as the 16 teams from remote areas participated in the Kirpa Super League edition-II.Raja Itsam, Raja Farhan, Raja Adnan, and Raja Zeeshan were the organizer of the event. The management committee of this tournament was included Raja Luqman, Raja Arbab, Raja Moazzam, Raja Fahad, Raja Shahnawaz, Naveed Khokhar, and Raja Tauqeer. Raja Murad was leading the hosts side. The special guests of this tournament were Raja Nasir, Raja Israr, Raja Rais, Raja Adnan, Umair Zahid.

T20: Islamabad Police beat Shalimar Cricket Academy by 7 wickets
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police cricket team thrashed Shalimar Cricket Academy by 7 wickets in a friendly T20 match at Islamabad Police Lines Headquarters cricket ground on Saturday.Shalimar won the toss and elected to bat first. They set a target of 158 runs in 20 overs per innings fixture. Abdul Jabbar scored 63 runs, and Shabir contributed 32 runs. Hamid Ali took 3 wickets while Waheed grabbed 2 wickets for Islamabad Police.In reply, the Islamabad police cricket team achieved the target of 163 runs in 16.5 overs after losing their three batters. Shahid scored 54 runs and Shahzaib 43 runs. Fawad, Faizan & Hammad took one wicket each.Sports officer Islamabad Police Shahid Saddique and President Shalimar Cricket Academy Mohammad Tahir appreciated the performance of both teams especially the player of the match Hamid Ali.

Bilal Majeed Super League Cricket: Abdullah Lions Punjab win title
KARACHI (PR): Abdullah Lions Punjab have won the title of the All Pakistan Bilal Majeed Super League (BSL) Cricket Tournament, as the 4th edition concluded here on Sunday.In the final played at Golden Ground Korangi, Abdullah Lions won the toss and elected to bat first. Abdullah Lions scored one hundred and thirty-seven runs for the loss of three wickets in the allotted six overs. Taimur Mirza played an aggressive innings of sixty-five runs with the help of eight sixes off thirteen balls. Osama Sialkoti scored 30 runs and Khurram Chakwal scored 18 runs. In response, the Wasif Sports Karachi team failed to chase the target and scored ninety runs for five wickets. Captain Taimur Mirza was named Man of the Match. Osama Sialkoti was declared the best batsman and Qadir Kashmiri was declared the best bowler. The winning team, Abdullah Lions, was given eight lakh rupees and a trophy. While the runner-up team Wasif Sports was entitled to four lakh rupees.The winning captain Taimur Mirza said that he was very happy on this victory in BSL season four. Success is the result of hard work. He also thanked Khurram Majeed for organizing the wonderful tournament and Korangi fans for their immense support. Host Khurram Majeed said that he tried to organize the best event in which he succeeded. Next year, the scope of the league will be further expanded

Shifa International Hospital Islamabad beat BHC XI by 75 runs
ISLAMABAD (PR): Shifa International Hospital Islamabad beat BHC XI by 75 runs in the frindly here at Daimond Cricket Ground Islamabad. BHC XI Captain won the toss and invited to bat first Shifa International, Shifa International bowled out for 201 in the 30th overs,Khateeb 44, Captain Qutab Uddin Qureshi 34, Tariq Shahzad 34, Imtiaz Alam 24 and Muhammad Ikram 14 runs were their leading run-getters. BHC XI Wajhat (4 for 23), Muneeb (2 for 35) and Saneer (1 for 30) were the other main wicket-takers. In reply, BHC XI was bowled out for 126 runs in the 29th overs, Asif (38), Kashif (21) and Nouman 13 were their main scorers. Shahzad Kiani bowled well and claimed 4 wickets for 09 runs in 3 overs, while Imtiaz Alam (3 for 15), Tariq Shahzad (2 for 13) and Syed Mudassar Bukhari (1 for 22) bowled well for Shifa International. Shahzad Kiani declared “Man of the Match” for his impressive Performance.

Sports ReportISLAMABAD: Shifa International Hospitals Islamabad beat 5 Pillars Cricket Club Rawalpindi by 7 wickets in the friendly T-20 Cricket match here at Ghouri Cricket Ground Islamabad.Shifa International Captain won the toss and invited to bat first 5 Pillars, 5 Pillars hit up 125 for loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Waseem (20), Sohiab (17) and Abdul Wahdi (16) were the key contributors. Shifa International Syed Mudassar Bukhari (2 for 12), Imtiaz Alam (2 for15) and Tahir Akhtar (2 for 36) were the other main wicket-takers. In reply, Shifa International achieved the target in the 17th over for the loss of three wickets. Tahir Akhtar and Captain Qutab Uddin Qureshi contributed 93 runs in 3rd wicket partnership. Allrounder Tahir Akhtar 44 not out runs 42 balls with 8 Fours, Master Blaster Captain 43 runs 41 balls with 8 fours, while Khateeb 12 not out and Imtiaz Alam 10 were their leading run-getters.

A brilliant game was shown by Ashraf Khan, Alam Zeib, and Mohammad Sufyan. CWC XIs could score 144 runs.Chief guest presented trophies to Owais Autos team's best captain and best bowler Talha Ahmed Butt, best batsman Alamzeb and man of the match Ashraf Khan along with winner and runner-up trophies.

Ghani Ur RehmanPESHAWAR: A rising and talented junior cricketer of Peshawar, Mohammad Zaid Khalji has been touching the heights of cricket by showing his performance by scoring 6 tons and 24 half centuries in the current season.This talented cricketer, who plays in the Student Cricket Academy Gymkhana under the supervision of Coach Fakhar Alam, Mohammad Zaid Khalji has created a big name in a short period of time. Zaid Khalji, who is known for being a run machine, scored 142 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 16 fours against the Tribal Cricket Academy like every match. He surprised everyone by scoring runs.Zaid Khalji expressed his determination that he would make the name of Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bright in the field of cricket. Abdul Ghaffar KhanISLAMABAD: The scrutiny of the Islamabad Region’s clubs was conducted under the supervision of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Arbab Altaf here, as clubs participated in the process enthusiastically.According to the details, Zaka Ashraf, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board last week, asked to re-scrutiny after the completion of the time according to the Pakistan Cricket Board 2014 rules. Scrutiny of zones has been completed. Pakistan Cricket Board Scrutiny Committee Chairman Babar Altaf supervised it in a very friendly atmosphere. Scrutiny under the supervision of the chairman Aabar Altaf declared clean and transparent by all club members of Islamabad regions and paid tribute to the PCB for providing full opportunities to all the club owners to present all the records of their clubs.

Right-handed batter scored 50 runs in unbeaten innings against SCA’s boys’ elevens, as her innings was laced with six boundaries.At the end of the match, president Shalimar Cricket Academy President Raja Mohammad Tahir awarded a prize of Rs 1000 to Maham Anis for her outstanding batting performance.

AZ Real Estate Islamabad win Naya Nazimabad Bankers Cup
Sports Bulletin Report KARACHI: AZ Real Estate Islamabad have won the title of the Naya Nazimabad Bankers Cup Ramadan Cricket Tournament by defeating Attock Sports Karachi by five wicketsin the final on Sunday night under electric lights here at Naya Nazimabad Cricket Stadium. Attock Sports batted first and scored 178 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted twenty overs. Jahanzeb Sultan played an aggressive innings of 64 runs with the help of four sixes and four fours off 46 balls. Shahid Mirani scored 31 runs and Shahid Mirani scored 23 runs. Zeeshan Malik dismissed two players. In reply, AZ Real Estate Islamabad achieved their target at the loss of five wickets in the last over of the final match. Opener Owais Zia played an important role in the victory of his team by scoring 84 runs with the help of four sixes and nine fours. Zeeshan Malik scored 31 runs and Ali Imran scored 30 runs.
