CrewLogix Technologies beat CTI Shipping in 4th Junior Polo Championship
LAHORE (PR): CrewLogix Technologies secured a crucial 7-5 victory against CTI Shipping on the second day of the 4th Junior Polo Championship, organized by Lahore Garrison Polo Grounds and sponsored by TCL.  The thrilling match, held at Pakistan Park Cavalry Ground, attracted a large number of spectators and families. Among the notable attendees were Club Secretary Major Babar Mehboob Awan, TCL’s Muhammad Owais, and other dignitaries.  In a competitive encounter, Saim Abbas led Crew Logix Technologies with an impressive four goals, while young Diyan Ahmed Butt added three goals to seal the victory. For CTI Shipping, M Mustafa Fahd Khan was the standout performer, scoring three goals, while Muzammil Ahmed and Syed Ayan Salman contributed one goal each. The opening chukker was a tightly contested affair, with both teams displaying remarkable skill and intensity, ending the period locked at 2-2. The second chukker maintained the thrilling momentum as each side added another goal to keep the score level at 3-3. CTI Shipping started the third chukker on a strong note, capitalizing on a 40-yard penalty conversion to take a narrow 4-3 lead.  However, CrewLogix Technologies responded emphatically, launching a stunning comeback with three consecutive goals, surging ahead to 6-4. In the fourth and final chukker, both teams managed to add a goal to their tally, but CrewLogix Technologies maintained their dominance, securing a well-fought 7-5 victory.

Junior Polo: Zacky Farm Polo triumph over Sula Polo in opener
LAHORE (PR): Zacky Farm Polo outpaced Sula Polo in opening match of the 4th Junior Polo Championship 2025, sponsored by TCL Pakistan, commenced at Pakistan Park Polo Ground, marking the beginning of an exciting competition among young polo talents. The tournament, a part of the Pakistan Polo Association's official calendar, features four competing teams including Sula Polo, Zacky Farm Polo, CTI Shipping, and Crewlogix Technologies. A large number of spectators, including families and polo enthusiasts, gathered to witness the thrilling first match and cheered on the young players, creating a lively and encouraging atmosphere. Maj (R) Babar Mehboob Awan, the club's secretary, along with former polo players, also attended the event. The opening match saw Zaki Farms Polo Team secure a convincing 3-1 victory over Sula Polo Team. Zacky Farm Polo’s star player, Zackaria Daud Ali Khan, stole the show by scoring all three goals for his team, leading them to victory. Sula Polo's lone goal was scored by Rabeel Noman Hussain. On Tuesday (February 4, 2025), Crewlogix Technologies set to face CTI Shipping in what promises to be another exciting contest.

Balochistan clinch Maj Gen Saeed-uz-Zaman Memorial Polo Cup trophy
Lahore (JPR):: Team Balochistan defeated Team Army by 6-4½ in the thrilling final to clinch the trophy at the Maj Gen Saeed-uz-Zaman Janjua Memorial Polo Cup, sponsored by JS Bank, concluded at the Jinnah Polo Fields on Sunday. A large and enthusiastic crowd from Lahore gathered to witness the final match. The event's chief guest, Lt Gen Farooq Ahmed Khan, graced the occasion, accompanied by JS Bank Regional Head Majid Qureshi, Brig Badr-uz-Zaman (R), the son of Maj Gen Saeed-uz-Zaman, and Maj Ali Taimur (R), the club secretary. Numerous polo players and enthusiasts were also in attendance. Prior to the final, an exhibition two-chukker match betwen Young Girls and Young Boys teams was held, where the Girls' team outclassed their opponents with a 4-0 victory. The final match between Team Balochistan and Team Army was a gripping contest. Team Army maintained a lead through the first three chukkers. However, Team Balochistan showcased exceptional performance in the fourth chukker to secure the win. For Team Balochistan, Raja Mikael Sami led the scoring with three goals, while Ahmed Bilal Riaz, Mumtaz Abbas Niazi, and Lt Col Shahyan Abbasi contributed one goal each. On the other hand, Team Army's two goals were scored by Raja Samiullah, with an additional two and a half goal handicap advantage. The award for the best pony was given to Tatli, owned by Ahmed Bilal Riaz, while the best player of the final was awarded to Raja Mikael Sami. In the subsidiary final, Diamond Paints defeated DS Polo by 7-4 goals.

Team Balochistan storms into final with thrilling victory over Diamond Paints
LAHORE (PR):Team Balochistan defeated Diamond Paints 9-7 in a nail-biting contest on the third day of the ongoing eight-goal Maj Gen Saeed-uz-Zaman Janjua Memorial Polo Cup, sponsored by JS Bank and organized by Jinnah Polo Fields, and secured a spot in the final.The enthralling and exciting match was witnessed and enjoyed by the Jinnah Polo Fields’ Secretary Maj (R) Ali Taimoor, JS Bank's Regional Head Majid Qureshi, Brig (R) Badr-uz-Zaman, son of General Saeed-uz-Zaman, polo players, their families and other dignitaries.The match between Diamond Paints and Team Balochistan remained intense until the final chukker, where Team Balochistan played their best polo and recorded a close 9-7 victory over spirited Diamond Paints. For Team Balochistan, Mumtaz Abbas Niazi fired in five fabulous goals, while Raja Mikael Sami smashed in four fantastic goals.On the Diamond Paints side, Mir Huzaifa Ahmed, Raja Temur Nadeem, and Raja Jalal Arsalan played outstanding polo and scored two goals each, while Shaikh Muhammad Farhad, substituting for Mir Shoaib Ahmed, contributed with one goal. The grand finale of the prestigious tournament will be contested on Sunday (January 26, 2025).Team Balochistan burst into the match with a resounding start, netting three spectacular goals to take a commanding 3-1 lead against Diamond Paints. The second chukker was a closely contested affair, with both teams scoring two goals apiece, leaving Team Balochistan still in the driver's seat with a 5-3 advantage.However, Diamond Paints staged a formidable comeback in the third chukker, slamming in three goals against Team Balochistan's two, narrowing the gap to 7-6. Undaunted, Team Balochistan rallied in the thrilling fourth and final chukker, firing two goals against Diamond Paints' lone score to seal a hard-fought 9-7 victory.

LAHORE (Sports Report): Master Paints/Newage Cables edged past FG/Din Polo 5-4 in the thrilling final to clinch the trophy at the 13th Lahore Open Polo Championship, sponsored by Cheetah, that concluded at the Lahore Polo Club on Sunday.The chief guests on the occasion were Raja Nauman, General Manager Merchandising Servis Retail, and Qudsia Manzoor, Marketing Manager Servis. Other notables present on the occasion were executive committee members of the club, including Naseer Ahmed, Raja Amir, Saqib Khan Khakwani, and a large number of spectators and families.The main final match was fiercely contested, with Master Paints/Newage Cables securing victory in the final moments with a fabulous field goal by Bilal Haye that helped his side win the thrilling final by 5-4. For Master Paints/Newage Cables, Estanislao Abelenda and Alman Jaleel Azam thrashed in two goals each, while Bilal Haye contributed one. On the opposing side, FG/Din Polo's Raja Mikael Sami and Saqib Khan Khakwani each scored two goals.Earlier in the subsidiary final, IS/SQ/Platinum Homes defeated PB Polo 4-1 to claim victory. For IS/SQ/Platinum Homes, Hamza Mawaz Khan thrashed in three superb goals while Bilal Hayat Noon converted one. For PB Polo, Hissam Ali Hyder scored one goal.

Lahore Open: IS/SQ/Platinum, Pebble Breakers claim victories
Lahore (PR): IS/SQ/Platinum Homes and Pebble Breakers excelled in the 13th Lahore Open Polo Championship, sponsored by Cheetah, at the Lahore Polo Club ground on Thursday.In the initial matches, three teams competed in two chukkers each. IS/SQ/Platinum Homes emerged victorious by defeating BN Polo 2-1 and later edging out Master Paints 3-2 to secure their place in the subsidiary final.In the day's final match, Pebble Breakers delivered a commanding performance against Pakistan Air Force (PAF), outclassing them by 6-1. Hissam Ali Hyder starred for Pebble Breakers, as he fired in four fabulous goals, while Mohammad Waheed and Mohsin Ata Khan Khosa added one goal each. For PAF, Ahmed Bilal Riaz managed their sole goal.On Friday (December 27, 2024), two exciting semifinals will be contested. The first semifinal will take place between Diamond Paints and Master Paints/Newage Cables at 1:45 pm while Army will vie against FG/Din Polo in the second semifinal. The winners of both the semifinals will qualify for the main final, to be contested on Sunday (December 29, 2024).

Lahore (SBR): Army, Master Paints/Newage Cables and FG Polo recorded victories in the 13th Lahore Open Polo Championship, sponsored by Cheetah at the Lahore Polo Club, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of spectators and families.In the first match of the day, the Army team dominated PB Polo with an emphatic 8-4 victory. Army's star players, Mohammad Naeem and Raja Samiullah, each scored three tremendous goals, while Shahid Imran added two. PB Polo’s efforts were led by Hissam Ali Hyder, who scored three goals, and Sardar Mohsin Atta Khosa, with one goal.The second match saw Master Paints/Newage Cables secure a hard-fought 6-4 win against BN Polo. Master Paints/Newage's standout performer, Eatanislao Abelenda, scored four fabulous goals, complemented by two goals from Bilal Haye. For BN Polo, Sebastian Hancock netted three goals, while Saim Abbas scored once.In the final match of the day, FG/Din Polo outpaced Rijas/Barry’swith another 6-4 scoreline. FG/Din Polo’s Raja Mikael Sami thrashed in three goals, Saqib Khan Khakwani added two, and Shaikh Mohammad Raffay completed the tally with one goal. On Thursday (December 26, 2024), all losing teams will face off against each other, while the semifinals are scheduled for Friday.

LAHORE (SBR): Lahore (Sports Reporter): The 13th Lahore Open Polo Championship 2024, sponsored by Cheetah, kicked off under the auspices of Lahore Polo Club with three thrilling matches on the opening day. The event attracted a significant number of spectators and families.In the first match of the opening day, Diamond Paints defeated Master Paints by a narrow margin of 7-5. For Diamond Paints, Raja Jalal Arsalan played superb polo and fired in four fabulous goals while Mir Huzaifa Ahmed converted two, and Mir Shoaib Ahmed one goal. For Master Paints, Amirreza Behboudi scored four goals, while Sufi Mohammad Amir managed one goal.The second match saw Master Paints/Newage Cables secure a 6-4 victory against IS/SQ/Platinum Homes. For Master Paints/Newage Cables, Estanislao Abelenda, Farooq Amin Sufi, and Alman Jaleel Azam each scored two goals. On the opposing side, Hamza Mawaz Khan netted three goals, and Agha Musa added one.The third match proved a nail-biter encounter, which was decided in sudden death during the fifth chukker, where Rijas/Barry’s edged past PAF with a 7-6 scoreline. For Rijas/Barry’s, Mohib Faisal Shehzad thrashed in three tremendous goals, while Mumtaz Abbas Niazi and Julian Taurino Diaz each scored two goals. For PAF, Sqn Ldr Hamza Iqbal showcased an impressive performance with five goals, while Chaudhry Hayat scored one. On Wednesday (December 25, 2024), three more exciting matches are scheduled.

FG/Din Polo beat Diamond Paints 4-3 in a thrilling final at Lahore Polo ClubLahore (SBR): FG/Din Polo emerged title winners in the Patrons Aibak Polo Cup 2024, defeating Diamond Paints 4-3 in the thrilling final at Lahore Polo Club on Sunday.The final marked the 48th edition of the historic Aibak Cup, hosted by Lahore Polo Club, and attracted a large audience of spectators and families. Prior to the final, various events were held, including a cavalcade, barrel racing, and tent pegging competitions for men and women. A match between the Lahore Polo Club's Young Ladies' Polo Team and the Young Boys' Polo Team also took place, with the girls securing the victory.The tournament's distinguished patrons in attendance included Salman of Overdose, Mir Shoaib Ahmed (CEO of Diamond Paints), Farooq Amin Sufi (Director Marketing, Master Paints), Dr. Faisal Qadeer Khokhar (Director, Remington Pharma), Taimur Ali Malik (Director, Guard Group), Mohammad Abubakar Siddique (Director, Black Horse Paints), Qadeer Ashfaq (Director, Platinum Homes), Sardar Mohsin Atta Khosa (Pebble Breakers), Nafees Barry (Director, The Retro Bar), along with Lahore Polo Club Executive Committee members Mohammad Naseer, Raja Amir, Adnan Hayat Noon, Saqib Khan Khakwani, senior club member Irfan Ali Hyder, Major Janoed Muazz, Najaf Shah, and a significant number of players.In a thrilling final, FG/Din Polo's Mian Abbas Mukhtar scored two goals, while Shaikh Mohammad Farhad and Raja Mikael Sami contributed one goal each to secure their team's win. For Diamond Paints, Raja Jalal Arsalan scored two goals, and Mir Huzaifa Ahmed added one.Earlier, in the subsidiary final, Newage Cables defeated BN Polo 6-4. During the closing ceremony, the patrons distributed prizes among the winners and top performers. Raja Mikael Sami was named the best player of the match, while Mian Abbas Mukhtar was honored as the best patron. The best pony award went to Abbas Mukhtar's mare.

Historic Patrons Aibak Polo Cup 2024 kicks off at Lahore Polo Club
LAHORE (SBR): The Patrons Aibak Polo Cup 2024 commenced with great fanfare under the auspices of Lahore Polo Club.  During a packed press conference, Lahore Polo Club President Malik Azam Hayat Noon, alongside event sponsors, officially announced the start of tournament. Highlighting its historical significance, Azam Hayat Noon emphasised that the Aibak Polo Cup is a proud legacy of the Lahore Polo Club, paying tribute to Sultan Qutb-ud-din Aibak, a key historical figure in the subcontinent’s history. The Aibak Polo Cup is named after Sultan Qutb-ud-din Aibak, the first Sultan of the Delhi Sultanate, who was not only a warrior but also an avid polo player. Polo, known as "The Game of Kings," held great importance during his reign. Sultan Aibak tragically passed away in Lahore in 1210 after falling from his horse while playing polo. To honor his contributions to history and the sport, the Aibak Polo Cup has been a prominent fixture in Lahore Polo Club’s calendar for decades, preserving the legacy of the great leader and the club’s deep connection to the game. The press conference was attended by Executive Committee members Naseer Ahmed and Feroze Gulzar, along with key sponsors, including Taimur Ali Malik of Guard Group, Mir Huzaifa Ahmed of Diamond Paints, Dr. Faisal Qadeer Khokhar of Remington Pharma, Sardar Mohsin Atta Khosa of Pebble Breaker, Farooq Amin Soofi of Master Paints, Adnan Jalil Azam of Newage Cables, Nafees Barry of The Retro Bar, Abu Bakar Siddique of Black Horse Paints and Salman Akram of OD Donuts.  According to Malik Azam Hayat Noon, ten teams are participating in the tournament, divided into two groups.
