KARACHI:-Upcoming talented squash player, Azan Ali has won the Under-15 title of the Pakistan day Juniors & Women’s Squash Championship after beating Umer Arif 3-2 in the final at Roshan Khan-Jerhangir Khan Squash Complex Karachi on Saturday. The final score-line was 11-3, 11-2, 6-11, 9-11 and 11-6.
Under-15 final was most thrilling match of the day, as rest of all three finals ended in straight games 3-0. However, Azan Ali from Army had to toil hard in the court to overcome his challenger Umer Arif from Khyber PukhtunsKawa (KPK). The winner pocketed the first two games easily after conceding just 3 and2 points respectively games. Umer bounced back in the match after winning the 3rd and 4th game at 11-6 and 11-9. However, Azan Ali won the last game at 11-6 to become the Under-15 champion.
