Islamabad (Sports News):

The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) has announced to hold two Grade A+ National Ranking Tennis Tournaments in Karachi during February 2026, signaling a major boost for tennis activities in the metropolitan city after a prolonged absence of high-profile national events.

The Grade A+ tournaments are being welcomed after a long time in Karachi. ICI and Salma Noorani Nationals were the last A+ tournaments.

Tournaments will bring together Pakistan’s top-ranked players and emerging talent, providing a highly competitive platform and reaffirming Karachi’s importance on the national tennis calendar.

Schedule:

PSO National Ranking Tennis Tournament (Grade A+) — 8 to 15 February 2026, to be held at Karachi Club.

Naya Nazimabad Ramzan National Ranking Tennis Tournament (Grade A+) — 16 to 23 February 2026, to be held at Naya Nazimabad Gymkhana Club, Karachi.

The Naya Nazimabad RAMADHAN tournament will be played during the holy month of Ramzan, with night matches, offering players and spectators a unique and exciting experience.

Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President PTF, stated that after a very long gap, Karachi is once again hosting two major Grade A+ national tournaments, which is a significant milestone for tennis in the city. He added that these tournaments provide a great opportunity for players and that Ramzan night tennis will bring a new and refreshing experience for fans.
