National MMA Championships to commence on September 8, 2023
Sports Bulletin ReportKARACHI:  The National Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Championship 2023 will spring into action on September 8 in Karachi under the auspices of the Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation (PMMAF) in collaboration with the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and Sindh Mixed Martial Arts Association (SMA).According to an official, a three-day national event will conclude on September 10, 2023, at the same venue. It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation is an authentic body affiliated with Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA). The championship will witness male and female fighters from all over Pakistan who will be seen competing against each other in the upcoming fights for the ultimate title gain of the championship. The fighters will have fights in two different categories including MMA and Striking MMA However, Individual category is divided into different weight categories in which fights will be contested.President PMMAF, Zulfiqar Ali said:“All affiliated Units of Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation will also be featuring in this championship which including Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Sindh, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan (GB), and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) players from their respective teams will be seen competing with all their skills so as to earn top honors in the championship.
Elections of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Max Martial Arts Association complete
Sports Bulletin Report PESHAWAR-The elections of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Max Martial Arts Association (MMA) have been completed, as Wajihullah Chairman, Salman Orakzai President and Ramin Ahmed became the Secretary General of the association. A meeting was held in Peshawar, which was chaired by Salman Orakzai. Shab Faisal, a representative of the directorate, participated in the meeting. On this occasion, a cabinet was unanimously formed for the next four years.  Associate Secretaries Sofia Javed and Habib, Finance Secretary Mohammad Fawad and Information Secretary Hassan were also elected in the meeting. “Sports have great importance and as a result of its promotion a healthy society is formed, “an official said.
Nation Care Junior Championship: National Taekwondo Club claim top position
Qaiser Chohan LAHORE:-National Taekwondo Club claimed top position in the Nation Care Junior Taekwondo Championship 2022 while Ghazi Taekwondo Club got second and Barak High School third position. Masooma, a three-and-a-half-year-old girl from Ghazi Taekwondo Club, set a new record by winning a gold medal. Over 50 martial art athletes took part in the Nation Care Junior Taekwondo Championship 2022 in different age group categories. National Taekwondo Club won five gold medals, two silver and one bronze medal and won the first position. With four gold medals, two silver and two bronze medals Ghaai Club got second position. Barak High School won three gold medals, one silver and three bronze medals and secured third position. Matin Nayyar, Hamza Islam, Ian Nadeem, Wajid and Kamil Mahmood of National Taekwondo Club succeeded in winning gold medals. Ali Haider and Hassan Ali won silver medals, while Bilal won bronze medal and helped their club to win the AM Nation Care Junior Taekwondo Championship.  
Balochistan Mixed Martial Arts Association elects Mir Jehangir Lango its new chairman
Sports Bulletin Report Quetta (Pakistan):- Balochistan Mixed Martial Arts Association (MMA) has elected Mir Jehangir Lango as its chairman for the next term in a meeting that held at Pakistan Sports Board Quetta. According to Pakistan Sports Board, Sharafat Butt Vice Chairman, Agham Mohammad Mengal President, Agham Mohammad Noorzai Senior Vice President, General Secretary Rehmat Noorzai have been elected during the election process. Elections of Balochistan Mixed Martial Arts Association were held under the supervision of Assistant Director Sports Board Mohammad Arsalan at PSB Gymnasium. Jahangir Lango Chairman, Sharafat Butt Vice Chairman, Agham Mohammad Mengal President, Agham Mohammad Noorzai Senior Vice President, Abdul Bari Vice President, Female Vice President Farah while Haji Rehmat Noorzai was elected for the post of General Secretary. Expressing their views, Chairman Mir Jahangir Lango, President Agham Mohammad Mengal and General Secretary Rehmat Noorzai said that it was a great initiative to promote the Mixed Martial Arts sports across the province. All Pakistan and All Balochistan Mixed Martial Arts Tournament will be held in Quetta, the expected date of which will be announced in the next meeting. Jahangir Longo further said that all the associations of Balochistan should come forward for the promotion of sports. “As the players are being affected due to the squabble between the associations and the sports department. Balochistan government should ensure that facilities will be provided to the players and provide them sports opportunities so that the players can continue their sport with more diligence, “he concluded.
