FIFUSA WORLD CUP 2024: PSFF selects 23 players for training camp
Abdul Jabbar FaisalISLAMABAD: Pakistan Soccer Futsal Federation (PSFF) has picked-up 23 lads for a training camp aiming to prepare strong team for forthcoming FIFUSA Futsal World Cup, which will be held in September this year 2024.According to an official of PSFF, the players have been selected on merit after conducting two days trials at National University of Modern Languages (NUML). Over 250 players took part in the trials to show their game skills. Zener Caro, Cuban Ambassador, who visited trials venue, said:  “I am impressed with the talent and dedication shown by all the participants. The level of the trials was high, and it looked to be a tough decision for coaches to select the final squad.”Mubashar Sanjrani, General Secretary PSFF said: “Federation welcomes and appreciates futsal players who traveled from all over the Pakistan to participating in this trials. Women's futsal team to participate in AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup
Sports Bulletin ReportLAHORE: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced the participation of the Pakistan Women's Futsal team in the AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup 2025. For the first time, the women's team will compete in any premier futsal competition under the umbrella of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).The qualification round is scheduled to begin at the start of 2025, with the round of 12 set to take place in May 2025. To prepare for the AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup 2025, the PFF has successfully organized five Futsal National Cup (FNC) competitions in major cities across Pakistan.MRF clinched the title of the Women's Futsal National Cup in Lahore. In Quetta, Hazara remained the crowned champions of the Women's Futsal National Cup. Smuff emerged victorious in the Women's Futsal National Cup in Islamabad, while the Karachi City team secured the win in the Women's Futsal National Cup in Karachi. These competitions were a part of PFF's efforts to develop women's futsal in Pakistan.Chairman PFF Normalisation Committee, Haroon Malik said: "I am pleased to announce that the PFF has confirmed the participation of the Women's Futsal team in the AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup 2025. This participation highlights PFF's commitment to developing women's futsal in Pakistan and providing our players with opportunities to compete at the international level", he added.

Futsal: Saudi National Women celebrate back-to-back wins against Serbia
Sports Bulletin ReportRiyadh (Saudi Arabia): The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) announced that the Saudi Arabia Women’s National Futsal Team secured back-to-back victories against the Serbia national team. The team recorded a 3-2 win in the first match, with goals from Albandary Mubarak, Seba Tawfiq, and Albandary AlHwsawi. This was followed by a 5-2 victory in the second match, with Albandary Mubarak scoring all five of Saudia Arabia’s goals.Aalia AlRasheed, Head of the Women's Football Department at SAFF, said: “These wins show just how much effort and passion our team puts into every game. Winning against a strong team like Serbia really boosts our national team’s confidence and highlights the progress we’re making in women's futsal. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the hard work of our players and coaching staff pay off in such a significant way. We’ve been focusing on building a strong, cohesive team, and these victories are indications that we’re on the right path. Our goal is to keep pushing forward, learn from every match, and continue to grow. We’re determined to keep this momentum going and reach even greater heights. The support from SAFF and the dedication of our players are key to our success, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved so far."The friendly matches were part of the national team’s ongoing training camp in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, which commenced on 23 May 2024 and will run until 15 June 2024. This camp is a critical component of the team’s preparation for upcoming competitions and matches, focusing on fitness, physical conditioning, and tactical development.Head Coach Mato Stanković, who has been instrumental in the team’s development, continues to guide the 20-player squad in this training camp. Eighteen matches decided on second day of PFF Futsal National Cup
Sports Bulletin ReportKARACHI: As many as 18 matches were decided from Groups D, E and F on the second day of the PFF Futsal National Cup Phase Five in Legends Arena, Karachi.In the first match of Group D, Karachi United thumped Drive inn FC 6-1. In the second encounter, Karachi City defeated Ignite FC 7-1. The third match was played between Ignite FC and Drive inn FC where Ignite FC remained victorious again 5-3. In the fourth encounter, Karachi City defeated Karachi United by 2-1. In the fifth game, Karachi City thrashed Drive inn FC 5-0. In the last game of Group D, Karachi United beat Ignite FC by 6-1.From Group D, Karachi City FC and Karachi United reached into next stage.In the first match of Group E, Forza FC thumped Diya Mens 5-1. In the second encounter, Bismillah Sports defeated PNEC FC 2-1. The third match was played between Bismillah Sports and Diya Mens where Bismillah Sports remained victorious again 2-0. In the fourth encounter, Forza FC defeated Bismillah Sports by 2-1. In the fifth game, PNEC FC thrashed Diya Mens 3-0. In the last game of Group E, Forza FC beat PNEC FC by 7-1.From Group E, Forza FC and Bismillah Sports reached into next stage.In the first match of Group F, The match between DlD FC and Young Azizabad ended in a draw 2-2. In the second match, Young Azizabad outclassed Falcon United by 9-0. The third match was won by Baloch Mohammadan, 4–3 against the opponent DlD FC. In the fourth match, Baloch Mohammadan beat Falcon United by 7–2. The fifth game between Falcon United and DlD FC was won by DlD FC 3-0. The sixth game between Young Azizabad and Baloch Mohammadan ended in a draw 4-4.From Group F, Young Azizabad and Baloch Mohammadan have qualified for the next stage.

All Pakistan Inter Board Futsal Championship starts in Islamabad
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Eleven matches have been decided on the opening day of the All Pakistan Inter Board Futsal Championship, as the match between Islamabad and Faisalabad ended 3-3 draw at Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad on Friday. Dr. Ghulam Ali Malah, Executive Director, Inter Board Coordination Committee (IBCC), inaugurated the 3-days event.Chairman, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rawalpindi, Mohammad Adnan Khan, Secretary, Inter-Board Coordination Committee, Mohammad Buksh, and others officials including Shamashad Ali, Mohammad Fahmeed, Malik Suhail, Raja Sarwar, and Rana Abid were also present on the occasion. Eleven teams from all over Pakistan are taking part in the Championship and divided into two groups. Two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals. National Futsal Cup Phase-II: Hazara Quetta clinch both titles

Hazara Quetta Academy (HQA) claimed women’s title.In the men's third-fourth position play-off match, Balochistan Education Board beat Buitems FC 5-1 to claim the third position.Meanwhile, the women's final was won by Hazara Quetta Academy (HQA) after thrashing Hazara Club 3-0. The third position was clinched by Balochistan Women's Academy as they defeated Hazara United by 2-1.

Futsal News: Greet Hazar, Hazara Quetta qualify for men’s final
Sports Bulletin ReportQuetta:-Greet Hazar, and Hazara Quetta reached in the men’s final of the National Futsal Cup Phase II after beating their respective rivals in Aghil Futsal Arena, Quetta.Baluchistan Education Board (BEB) crushed Tiger Raisani 6-3 in the first quarterfinal of men’s event while Great Hazara overcame Hazara Club 4-3 in the second quarterfinal. Buitems Football Club overpowered Jhalawaan Quetta 4-1 in the penultimate quarterfinal of the tournament. However, in the last fixture, Hazara Quetta stunned 10-3 against Gull Hazara with a big margin of 7 goals, as the final score was 10-3.Later, in the first semi-final, Great Hazara defeated Baluchistan Education Board 8-3 while Hazara Quetta outclassed Buitems Football Club 10-3 in the second semi-final. In the women's first semi-final, Hazara Club beat Baluchistan Women Academy 2-1 while Hazara Quetta Academy, in the second semi-final, beat Hazara United Football Club 3-0.

Futsal News: SA Garden, MRF become champions
Sports Bulletin ReportLAHORE:-SA Gardens and MRF won the titles of the first PFF Men’s and Women’s National Futsal Cup 2023 at SA Gardens Futsal Field Lahore on Sunday night.In the men's final, Hamza scored the first goal for SA Gardens in the first half, making the scoreboard 1-0. However, Yousaf from LA equalized the score 1-1in the second half, as both finalists retained same score till the final whistle. Asif scored an excellent goal for SA Gardens in extra time to guide his team to historical victory. The final score was 2-1.Earlier, in the women’s final, MRF defeated TWK 5-2 to claim the title of national futsal showpiece. In the first half, Anmol Hira and Ghazala scored a goal each for MRF, putting them in a comfortable 2-0 lead. They maintained their momentum in the second half, with both players scoring another goal each for MRF. However, Dua and Samavia from TWK fought back and scored a goal each trying to equalize the game. But Anmol Hira displayed her exceptional skills once again, completing a hat trick and securing the win for MRF.

Women's National Futsal Cup: MRF FC and TWK set to meet in final
Sports Bulletin ReportLAHORE:-The MRF FC will lock horns against TWK on Sunday in the final of the 1st Women's National Futsal Cup, as Real Lahore will clash with Bulls FC for the third place play-off here SA Garden Futsal Fields.In the first match of the day, MRF crushed Bulls FC 5-0. The second encounter came in the favor of TWk when they outplayed Real Lahore 2-1. MRF in their second game, outclassed Sialkot City 12-0. The fourth game between TWK and Bulls ended in a 1-1 draw. After losing against TWK, Real Lahore played excellently and thumped Sialkot City 9-0. In the sixth game, MRF maintained the winning streak and got a third consecutive victory after defeating TWK 2-1. The seventh game was triumphed by Bull, 7-0 against Sialkot City. With four straight wins, MRF after beating Real Lahore 1-0, became the first team to qualify for the final. The second last game of the day was clinched TWK, 10-0 against Sialkot City. In the last game, Real Lahore downed Bulls FC 1-0.

Sports Bulletin ReportLAHORE: Smurfs FC, ABL FC, Real Lahore FC, LSA FC have reach in next round of the 1st PFF National Futsal Cup 2023, as more 12 matches were decided on the third day of national event at SA Gardens Futsal Fields Lahore on Friday.In the first match of Group E, Smurfs FC stunned Outlaws FC by 5-0. In the second encounter, ABL defeated YZC by 7-1. The third match was played between Smurfs FC and ABL where Smurfs FC got the second victory of the day by 7-2. In the fourth match, Outlaws FC defeated YZC by 6-1. Smurfs FC continued the winning streak in their 3rd game by defeating YZC 10-4. The last game between ABL and Outlaws ended in a 1-1 draw. Smurfs FC and ABL FC have reached the next round.In the first match of Group F, ICAW FC outclassed Taji FC by 9-0. The second match was won by Real Lahore, 6–3 against LSA. The third match between ICAW and Real Lahore ended without netting a single goal. After losing the first match, LSA thrashed Taji FC with a margin of 13-0 and then defeated ICAW by 2-0. The last game of the group was won by Real Lahore, 9-3 against Taji FC. From Group F, Real Lahore FC and LSA have reached the next round.
