LAHORE:-Raja Hasan and Samiya Tariq became the national junior badminton champions of Under-19 Boys’ and Girls’ events respectively after beating their respective opponents in the final of DHA National Junior Badminton Championship at Lahore on Sunday.
Mohammad Khalid Mahmood Secretary General, Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) was the chief guest of the final and distributed cash prize and trophies amongst the finalists. Director Sports, Sports Branch DHA Brigadier (R) Munir Ahmad, Wajid Ali Chaudhry President Pakistan Badminton Federation and Additional Director Sports DHA Lahore Lt. Col. (R) Zia Ud Din were also present at the occasion.
