
Islamabad (PR): The Pakistan Youth Volleyball Team has qualified for the semi-finals of the 3rd Asian Youth Games 2025, currently taking place in Bahrain, after a commanding 3-0 victory over Uzbekistan in the quarter-final match.
The young Pakistani squad delivered a powerful and disciplined performance, winning the sets by 25-13, 25-20, and 25-18 at the Isa Bin Rashid Sports City. Pakistan’s impressive teamwork and strategic play overwhelmed the Uzbek side, marking another milestone in the country’s growing youth volleyball legacy.
Outstanding performances came from Mohammad Yahya, Mohammad Anas, Muhtad Ali Shah, and Khizar Hayat, who led the team with remarkable energy, attacking precision, and defensive stability. Their synergy and confidence were instrumental in Pakistan’s straight-set win.
Following this crucial victory, Pakistan has now qualified for the semi-finals, showcasing their strength among Asia’s top youth volleyball teams. However, before the semi-final round, Pakistan will play a classification match against Saudi Arabia on 24 October 2025 at 4:00 PM (Pakistan Standard Time) as part of the tournament’s structured phase leading to the medal round.
