Hameed outplays Dilip Singh in straight sets 2-0 without conceding a solitary game

Pattaya (Thailand): Pakistani tennis man Hameed-ul-Haq toppled Second-seeded India man Dillip Singh Nongmaithem 2-0 in the 60+ Category final of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) seniors’ Tennis Championship 2023 at Greta Sports Club Pattaya, Thailand on Tuesday. The final score-line was 6-0, 6-0.
Former PakistanunDavis Cupper Hameed-ul-Haq started with pace and played powerful drives from the base-line and did not allow his Indian opponent to settle on the court and finished the set at 6-0. He kept the same pressure on Dillip Singh in the second set and won the second set in a similar style 6-0.
Veteran Hameed also took revenge for the Pakistan team beaten in the Asian Games 2023 a few days back by an Indian player, who had defeated the Pakistani lad without conceding a single game. However, Hameed did the same with Indian men in Thailand.
Also, Hameed-ul-Haq pairing with Thai partner Powin reached in Doubles final after beating the duo of opponent tennis men Aspiotis from Austria and Kudinov from Russia with a score-line of 6-2, and 6-3.
