ISLAMABAD: Four players including, Boda Zheng, Mahatir Mohammad Khan, Maxim Olar and Ilya Mosolkin have qualified for the main round of the ITF Pakistan S. Dilawar Abbas World Junior Tennis Championships Leg-2 after winning their respective matches at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex Islamabad on Sunday.
A Large number of foreign players (boys and girls) from Turkey, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Thailand, UK, Malaysia, Romania, Singapore, China, Poland, South Korea, Canada and Pakistan have participated in the leg-1 event.
Results (Boys’ Singles Qualifying Round):
Boda Zheng (CHN) beat Mohammad Ali (CAN) 6-3, 7-5
Mahatir Mohammad Khan (PAK) beat Hamza Rehmat (PAK) 6-2, 6-1
Maxim Olar (RUS) beat Alexander Klichnikov (RUS) 6-4, 6-4
Ilya Mosolkin(RUS) beat Kivanc Bedir (TUR)6-1, 6-2
