Quetta (August 11, 2023: Quetta Region moved into the semifinal of the All Pakistan Independence Day Cricket Gold Cup after beating Quetta White by 7 wickets at Bughti Cricket Stadium here on Friday.
In the first quarter final, Quetta Region outclassed Quetta White by 7 wickets. Quetta Region achieved the target of 86 runs for the loss of three wickets in the 16th over. Captain Abdul Wahid Bengalzi scored 31 runs, Bismillah Khan scored 25 runs and Ikramullah remained not out with 19 runs.
Batting first, White's team could only score 85 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Eight players of Quetta White could not enter double figures. Zainullah took five wickets while Gohar Faiz took three wickets.
