Harare (Zimbabwe): United Arabs Emirates (UAE) overcame the United States of America (USA) by one run in the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup Qualifier 2023 match after a thriller contest here at Harare Sports Club Zimbabwe on Thursday.
UAE captain Monak Patel won the toss and decided to bat first. The UAE team made 308 for 4 in 50 overs. Asif Khan played a blistering innings of 151 runs, as he wasted 145 balls. He hit 12 boundaries and 6 sixes. Aryansh Sharma played a superb innings of 57 runs with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes, and Basil Hameed scored 44 runs off 43 balls, as he smashed 2 fours and 1 six. Ali Khan (2 for 61), Saurabh Netravalkar (1 for 42), and Nosthush Kenjige (1 for 59) were wicket-taker bowlers for the USA.
