ISLAMABAD: Mohammad Hussain Chatha has clinched the title of the Ramadan Night Tenpin Bowling Cup that was held on Sunday night at City Bowling Club, Jinnah Park Rawalpindi while Junaid Khan bagged second and Shahzad Akhtar got third position.
President, Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) Ijazur Rehman was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the tournament, who distributed prizes to the winning players. Mohammad Hussain Chhata won the title with 356 points while Junaid Khan with 340 points and Shahzad Akhtar with 316 points stood the second and third position respectively.
On this occasion, President PTBF Ijazur Rehman said that there was no shortage of tenpin bowling talent in the country, but there was a need to provide facilities and resources to the bowlers. He said that Pakistan was at the fourteenth position in Asia and more such events should be organized in Pakistan so that new talent can dig out.
