KARACHI: The Falcons have clinched the title of Independence Day squash Team Championship 2023 after thrashing the Lions by 4-2 in the final held at Pakistan Navy, Roshan Khan/Jehangir Khan Squash Complex Karachi.
The final saw most thrilling contest between Sikander and Mohammad Ali, which was won by Sikander 3-2 in a five-game thriller. Both players displayed top-quality squash and amused a sizeable number of spectators. The final score-line was 11/9, 8/11, 12/10, 9/11, and 11/8. At the closing ceremony, Tauqeer Ahmad Khawaja distributed trophies to winners and runner-ups.
