Male (Maldives):-Pakistan overcame hosts Maldives by 65-63 in their second fixture of the five-nation International Basketball Tournament after a thrilling four-quarters contest here on Friday. Pakistan faced a defeat in the first match at the hands of Nepal.
In the second match, the Pakistani player did well to overcome the hosts, as they were ahead 40-34 after halfway. Zain-ul-Hasan was the top scorer with 22 while Zia-ur-Rehman and Emmad Ahmed were other major contributors with 15 and 13 points.
