Rawalpindi:-Abdullah has won the Amateur’s title of the Azadi Cup Tenpin Bowling Tournament at Leisure City Bowling Club, Jinnah Park, Rawalpindi on Friday.
Abdullah got top position with 328 scores while Hanan with 294 scores and Jawad Ali 290 scores obtained 2nd and 3rd position respectively. Similarly, Abdul Hadi got 4th position with 283 scores.
Zahid won Deaf men's title while Saira got top position in the women’s event of the Azadi Cup Tenpin Bowling Tournament
President, Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation, Ijaz ur Rehman said that Men and Women players from all over the country, are taking part in the tournament.
Eight competitions is being played in the tournament namely men's single, men's doubles, ladies singles, Amateur, Deaf, team event,Inter-Universities and Inter Schools. Semi final and finals will be played on September 10 and 11, respectively. After the finals, the concluding ceremony will be held on September 11, at 6.00 pm. Trophies and Certificates will be delivered to the winning players.
