Islamabad (faisal): A rising teenage squash player, Ashar Mohammad Farooq claimed an encouraging victory after lifting the title of the U13 10th ISC (Indian Social Center) Squash Tournament. He remained in second spot in the U18 competitions in the same tournament.
Salman Hashmi, coach of Ahsar, said: “Ashar toiled hard in the courts throughout the tournament and produced a good game of squash against all opponents. He is a very talented guy and I hope he will improve his game with the passage of time and will show remarkable performance in the international circuit”.
