ISLAMABAD (November 21, 2021):-The national women’s taekwondo team will leave Islamabad for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Monday to participate in the World Taekwondo Championship 2021.
According to president, Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF) Col (Retd) Waseem Ahmed Janjua, three playera and two officials will visit Saudi Arabia to represent Pakistan in mega taekwondo fixture. Naqsh Hamdani (-53 kg), Noor Rehman (-57 kg) and Zoya Sabir (-62 kg) will participate in their respective categories. Saba Shamim will be manager while Najia Khan will accompany the squad as a head coach.
The World Taekwondo Championship will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 24 to 28, 2021 under the auspices of World Taekwondo Federation.
