Pakistan Navy Academy’s Cadets shine at International Regatta
Karachi (PR): Cadets of the Pakistan Navy Academy (PNA) sailing team achieved a historic feat by securing a silver medal and overall second position in the 79th International Naval Academy Sailing Competitions. Which were held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Nine teams from around the world participated in the J24 Boat category competitions.The participating teams included Cadets from the Naval Academies of Pakistan, Brazil, China, Italy, Portugal, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and India. Speaking on the occasion, the PNA team captain dedicated the victory to the quality training of the Pakistan Naval Academy.After securing the first position during an International Sailing Championship in Sri Lanka earlier in August 2024, this was the consecutive second extraordinary performance at the international level during the last three months by cadets of PNA.The Chief of the Naval Staff congratulated the victorious team of PNA. He also lauded the efforts of PNA faculty and instructors for their back to back performances at the international stage. 
National Canoeing Championship 2023: Pakistan Navy win the title
Navy clinch 8 golds, and 2 silvers, Army men stand on the second rung with 2 goldsAbdul Jabbar FaisalISLAMABAD:-Pakistan Navy players have garbed the title of the 4th National Canoeing Championship 2023 after winning 8 gold and 2 silver medals after three-day competitions, which were held at Rawal Lake Islamabad. Pakistan Army claimed second position with 2 golds, and 8 silvers.The 4th edition of the National Canoeing Championship was held under the control of Punjab Armature Canoeing Association (PACA) in the blue waters of the beautiful Rawal Dam Lake in Islamabad. Besides, Pakistan Navy, Army, Punjab, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), Khyber Pakhutankawa (KPK), Sindh, WAPDA, and Gilgit Baltistan participated in the three days canoeing showpiece.Champions Navy men got the first position with 8 gold medals, and 2 silver while Pakistan Army won 2 gold medals and 8 silver medals. Hosts Punjab stood third with solitary gold and six bronzes. WAPDA and Gilgit-Baltistan lifted 1 each gold medal. Commodore Mohammad Ashraf (Star of Imtiaz Military), the chief guest of the event, distributed gold medals, prizes, and shields among the players.
National Canoeing Championship: Navy dominate with 4 golds
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD:-Pakistan Navy athletes were dominating with 4 gold medals on the second day of the 4th National Sprint Canoeing Championship 2023 here at Rawal Lake on Saturday.Pakistan Navy men were ahead with 4 golds and one silver medal while Pakistan Army players were spotted in second place with one gold and three silvers. However, host Punjab secured the third position with a solitary gold medal and a couple of bronzes.WAPDA, Islamabad, and Gilgit Baltistan finished the second day with 1 each bronze medal.

Rowing News: Pakistan Army Win National Games 2023 Rowing Title
Sports Bulletin ReportPhoto by: Uzair BadarISLAMABAD:-Pakistan Army athletes have lifted the rowing title of 34th National Games 2023 with 16 golds and 12 silver medals that concluded here on Wednesday. Pakistan WAPDA claimed second position with 8 golds, 10 silvers, and 6 bronzes.The National Games Rowing competitions were held in the capital city of Islamabad under the control of the Pakistan Rowing Federation (PRF). Water disciplines were taken place at Rawal Lake while Machine Events in the Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad.Five departments could spot on the medals table. Pakistan Navy got one gold, 6 silver, and 11 bronze while Pakistan Railway earned solitary gold in the top national sports competitions. Higher Education Commission (HEC) won 9 bronzes and got 5th position.

Qasim wins top position, as CNS International Sailing Regatta concludes
Sports Bulletin ReportKARACHI: The first Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) International Sailing Regatta 2023 concluded here on Sunday, as CNS Admiral Mohammad Amjad Khan Niazi graced the closing ceremony as chief guest to distribute the prizes amongst the winners and runner-ups.Besides host Pakistan, the players from Australia, Bahrain, Egypt, Malaysia, Oman, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand participated 5-day international sailing championship. The championship was featured in different competitions including Laser Standard, Laser 4.7, and Windsurfing categories. A total of twelve races were held in each category.In the Laser Standard, Malaysia's Khair Nizam Mohammad Effendi won the first position while Malaysia's Asri Bin Azman remained runner-up. In the laser 4.7 category, Thailand's Nupasoon Khunban Jan earned the first position while Singapore's Izak Gow grabbed the second position. In the windsurfing category, Pakistan's Raja Qasim Abbas won the first position and Malaysia's Mohammad Azdeen claimed the second position.On this occasion, the Chief of the Naval Staff Mohammad Ajmal Khan Niazi appreciated the efforts of participants and congratulated the winners in various categories. He further said that Pakistan Navy would continue to organize national and international sailing competitions to promote sailing and provide a platform to emerging national athletes to excel at national and international level.
