Queensland (Australia): Pakistan Women’s Blind cricket team defeated hosts Australian Women’s Bind cricket team by 7 wickets in the opening fixture of the 5-match Pakistan-Australia Women’s Blind Cricket T20 Series 2025 at Wally Tate Park, Queensland, Australia on Sunday.

Buakhao was top scorer with 46 off 47 balls, and C. Lewis contributed 35 off 29 balls. Nimra Rafique led Pakistan’s bowling attack, taking 1 wicket and keeping the scoring rate under control. In response, Pakistan Women comfortably chased down the target, reaching 159/3 in 19.2 overs to secure a 7-wicket win. Mehreen Ali anchored the innings with 44 off 46 balls, while Nisha added 36 off 43 balls. Despite I. McKenna’s 2 wickets for Australia, it wasn’t enough to stop Pakistan's steady chase.
