ISLAMABAD (November 12, 2021):- Lord Sebastian Coe, President World Athletics hailed the performance of Pakistani athletes Arshad Nadeem, who produce excellent performance in the recently concluded Tokyo Olympics.
According to an official of Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP), in the opening remarks in the 24th Congress Meeting of the Asian Athletics Association (AAA), Lord Sebastian Coe, President World Athletics appreciated the performance and efforts of Asian Athletics Association as well as Athletics Federation of Pakistan as AFP conducted online seminars for the sports community of Asian region during the Covid-19 crisis. He also applauded the recent outstanding performance by Arshad Nadeem, Javelin Thrower at the Tokyo Olympics.
The 24th Congress Meeting of the Asian Athletics Association (AAA) was held on 8th November 2021. It was attended by the Presidents and Secretary Generals of 45 Asian Countries. President Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) Maj General (Retd) Mohammad Akram Sahi who is also Vice President of the AAA and Mohammad Zafar Secretary General AFP attended the Congress.
