KARACHI:-News Zealand beat Pakistan by 47 runs in the last and final of the 5-Match One Day International Series here at National Stadium Karachi on Sunday night, as the Green Shirts won the series 4-1 by winning the first two fixtures at Pindi cricket stadium and two in Karachi.
Kiwis captain Tom Latham won the toss back-to-back three times in national stadium and decided to bat first this time, earlier, in the both matches he had elected to bowl first in the 3rd and 4th ODI. Visitors posted 299 runs on the board to set a 300 runs target for Babar’s XIs. Will Young was top scorer with 87 runs with the help of 8 four and a couple of sixes while Tom Latham contributed 59 runs off 58 balls. He hit five fours during his smart and well composed innings.
