National Juniors Circuit-II Championship starts at Mushaf Squash Complex
Sports Bulletin Report ISLAMABAD:-PSF Junior Squash Circuit No 2 Tournament started at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad on Monday. Finals will be played on July 1, 2022 at the same venue.  The tournament includes Boys U-11, 13, 15, 17, 19 & Girls U-19 age categories.  An amount of Rs 600,000 will be distributed as prize money amongst the players. The first event of the Junior Circuit-2022 was held in March-22 wherein, a group of 198 players participated from all over the country. Farhan hopes to reach in top 100s at International Squash Ranking very soon
Abdul Jabbar Faisal ISLAMABAD:-World number 280 squash player and an emerging 18 years old lad Farhan Hashmi hoped that he would improve his Professionals’ Squash Association (PSA) Ranking, after showing a notable performance in the upcoming international squash tournaments and secure his place in the top 100s very soon. It is pertinent to mention here that Farhan Hashmi has represented Pakistan in the various international juniors’ events including Asian Squash Championship 2019 in Thailand, Qatar Juniors and Hong Kong Juniors Squash Championship. While talking to international website Sports Bulletin at Liaquat Baugh Sports Complex Rawalpindi during an exclusive sitting, he added that he would visit the USA and would take part in four international squash events in different four states, which would help him to increase his international ranking. “My first aim is to reach in the top hundreds players and then move ahead in the international squash circuit. I am going to the United States of America (USA) and Canada to participate in the four international squash events, “he said. “US and Canada tours to play squash in the international circuit, as these trips will be beneficial and helpful for me to improve my game skills and move ahead in the international squash ranking. When I will play against high ranked foreign players in a different atmosphere, I will learn a lot. Once, I was at 203 in PSA ranking and I slipped down but I am now determined to make a mark in the history of Pakistan squash as well as international squash, “he added while cleaning his forehead. To a question Hafiz-e-Quran Farhan Hashmi further said: “My elder brother Salman Hashmi supports me in all ways and means in squash. He also played squash and lives in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). I learnt game skills from him and his companion squash coach Mohammad Wasim, who is a very nice and professional coach. Whenever I go to Dubai for training, my brother also helps me financially for the international trips. A senior national squash player Emmad Freed also helps me too much, “he maintained. A question regarding the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) Farhan Hashmi viewed that secretary squash Armaghan Aziz was very cooperative during the camps. “He provides all the facilities during the camps and fulfills all our requirements. I have no demand from the federation, as all the affairs are going smoothly. I am concentrating only on my game, as my brother removes all the hurdles from my way. He (Salman Bhai) provides me tremendous support, “he replied to another question.   “I am based in Rawalpindi (Jehanda Chichi) and I do practice at Liaqat Baugh Sports Complex and fitness session at Safri Club at my own expense. At Pindi, Sajjad Ahmed guides me during my three hour practice session at Jehangir Khan Squash Court. I give around six hours daily to squash and toiling hard to improve my game skills to become a world class squash player. It is my dream and that will turn into true, “optimistic pencil thin national squash guy Farhan Hashmi son of Shafqat Tenvir concluded.

Commissioner Rawalpindi Squash: Saeed Abdul beats Farhan Hashmi 3-2 in the final
Abdul Jabbar Faisal RAWALPINDI:-Top seed, Saeed Abdul aka Saad Abdullah defeated 3nd seedFarhan Hashmi 3-2 in the final of the 1st Commissioner Rawalpindi SatelliteMen’s Open Squash Tournament at Jehangir Khan Squash Court at Liaquat Baugh Sports Complex Rawalpindi on Friday. The final score-line was 10-12, 5-11,11-9, 11-8 and 11-5 after wasting 43 minutes in the court. In the first game, both players showed classic squash by hitting powerful forehand and backhand strokes, as the game went-up neck-to-neck and was leveled at 9-9 and 10-10. At this stage, Farhan played a couple of powerful strokes and finished the game at 12-10. He (Farhan) maintained the same pace in the second game and did not allow his high ranked challenger to earn the points. Farhan ended the second game at 11-5 and made the match score 2-0. Saeed Abdul started the third game a bit slow but he came from behind and exhibited a great game of squash and won the game at 11-9 despite this the game was squared at 9-9. After coming back in the match, the top seed guy toiled hard on the court and did not show any complacency during the rest of the games. He finished the penultimate game at 11-8 to level the match score 2-2. He won the final game easily at 11-5 to lift the national squash title. Top seed Saeed Abdul and 3nd seed Farhan Hashmi set to meet in the squash final
Abdul Jabbar Faisal RAWALPINDI:-Top seed, Saeed Abdul and 3nd seed Farhan Hashmi set to meet in the final of the 1st Commissioner Rawalpindi Satellite Men’s Open Squash Tournament after winning their respective semifinals that played at Jehangir Khan Squash Court at Liaquat Baugh Sports Complex Rawalpindi on Thursday. In the first semifinal, Saeed Abdul aka Saad Abdullah trounced Zain Ramzan 3-1 in a four games thriller, as both players exhibited top quality squash, however, Saeed managed the things smoothly after losing the first game at 4-11. During the rest of match winner lad did not allow his opponent to settle his feet in the court, however, Zain showed some resistance in the 4th game that ended 11-9 in the favour of Saad. Meanwhile, in the second semifinal, local guy Farhan Hashmi from Rawalpindi outclassed Mohammad Faraz 3-0 in straight games after showing excellent skills of game. He was in great form and claimed the first two games comfortably, however, he faced some powerful strokes from his rival and game went up neck-to-neck, which won by Hashmi at tie-break 12-10 to qualify for the championship match that will be played on Friday (March 25, 2022) at the same venue. Commissioner Rawalpindi Open Squash Tournament: Saeed, Zain, Farhan and Mohammad Faraz reach in semifinals
Abdul Jabbar Faisal RAWALPINDI:-Top seed, Saeed Abdul, Zain Ramzan, Farhan Hashmi and Mohammad Faraz have book their places in the top-four stage of the ongoing 1st Commissioner Rawalpindi Satellite Men’s Open Squash Tournament after thrashing their respective opponents in the quarterfinals at Liaquat Baugh Sports Complex Rawalpindi on Wednesday. In the first quarterfinal, top seed Saeed Abdul got-rid-of Mohammad Uzair Rasheed 3-2 in a well contested five games encounter, as the both player displayed top quality game and amused the sizeable spectators. Saeed won the first game easily after playing some aggressive strokes and some classic drop shorts, however, next two games were too tough for him, as his challenger Uzair Rasheed replied his all attacks fearlessly and claimed the next two games at 11-9 and 12-10 to make the match score 2-1. After three games, it was looking that Uzair would grab an upset victory after toppling top seed Saeed Abdul. On this stage, Saeed reset his strategy and bounced back in the match by winning penultimate game at 11-9 and squared the match 2-2. In the last game both players tried their best to clinch the game and to jump into in the semifinal but top seed guy was too good in the decisive game that won by Saeed Abdul 11-7. The final score-line was 11-5, 9-11, 10-12, 11-9 and 11-7, as the match wasted 60 minutes. Zain Ramzan outclassed Mohammad Farhan in straight games 3-0 in the second quarterfinal with the score-line of 11-3, 11-5 and 11-7 in just 22 minutes. Farhan Hashmi defeated Huzaifa Shahid in similar style 3-0 in third quarterfinal. The score was 11-9, 11-7 and 11-5. In the last and 4th quarterfinal, Mohammad Faraz beat Salman Saleem 3-0 in only 19 minutes with the score-line of 11-8, 11-6 and 11-3. The both semifinals will be played on Thursday (March 24, 2022) at the same venue. Commissioner Satellite Open Squash Championship from March 22
Sports Bulletin Report RAWALPINDI:-The first Commissioner Satellite Open Squash Championship will start from March 22, 2022 at Liaquat Bagh Sports Complex Rawalpindi. As many as 32 male players from all over the country will participate in the championship. According to an official, Commissioner Rawalpindi and President Punjab Squash Association Noorul Amin Mengal will inaugurate the championship. 32 players from across the country, including Yar Khan and Haseeb Taj, registered with the Professional Squash Association (PSA) will fight for the top honour in the 4-day fixture.
