Islamabad (Sports Desk): Pakistan's Hassan Usmani moved into the semifinals of the ATF Asian Under-14 quarterfinal, as the tournament is being played in Saudi Arabia.According to a press release of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), after a stunning display of skill and mind, Ashgabat's Champ and ACE Pak star Hassan Usmani, delivered a commanding performance to defeat Saudi Arabia's Hamza Mahdi 6-1, 6-1 in the quarterfinals of the ATF Asian 14&Under Championship in Jeddah. President PTF Mr. Aisam ul Haq Qureshi praised his performance and motivated him for the Semifinal.

Ahmad Nael and Bilal Asim reach ITF Junior Doubles Final in Saudi Arabia
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Duo of Pakistani tennis lads, Ahmad Nael Qureshi and Bilal Asim have advanced to the doubles final of the ITF J30 tournament after beating their opponent pair in semifinal in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.According to Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF),the Pakistani pair secured their spot in the final by defeating Mohammed Alghafli (ARU) and Ghannam Alghannam (KSA) with a score of 6-3,7-5. Both players, from Ace Tennis Academy-Pakistan, have demonstrated exceptional talent, showcasing the expertise and dedication of Pakistan's emerging tennis talent.In addition to his doubles success, Bilal Asim delivered an outstanding performance in the singles quarterfinal, defeating Artem Semenov (RUS), the tournament’s top seed, who ranks among the top 300 junior players in the world. Bilal won the match 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 and qualified for the singles Semifinals.Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President -PTF, congratulated Ahmad Nael Qureshi and Bilal Asim on their remarkable performances and extended his best wishes for the upcoming matches. World Tennis League unveils star-studded lineup of players for Season 3

Zohaib to Represent Pakistan in ATF U14 Grade A Tournament
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Zohaib Afzal Malik has been selected to represent Pakistan in the ATF Uner-14 South Asia Team, ATF U14 Grade A, Tournament scheduled to take place in Selangor, Malaysia, from August 5th to 10th, 2024.According to an official of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), this is the inaugural tournament organized by the Asian Tennis Federation this year 2024. This team will include a total of 2 boys and 2 girls from South Asia. Another ATF team from South East Asia, will also compete in the event in Malaysia. The selection for the team has been made from among the players already entered in the Grade A tournament based on the highest ATF U14 Ranking from the South Asia Region. Two ATF teams, from Central and West Asia, will compete in the ATF Grade A event in Kazakhstan while the ATF team from East Asia will compete in China.This is a momentous occasion for Zohaib and for Pakistan, as he will represent the country at such a high-level competition. Zohaib, a promising junior player from Lahore, has already participated in and represented Pakistan in various international tournaments.

Mikaeel Ali Baig wins US Tennis Association Junior title
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Rising tennis star, Mikaeel Ali Baig has won the title of the prestigious US Tennis Association Junior Tennis titles, as he became the 2024 USTA Florida Bobby Curtis Junior State Boys U14 Champion. The tournament took place from June 15-18 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. Bobby Curtis is an elite tournament, which was won previously by several professionals when they were juniors. Former “Bobby Curtis” champs, who have gone on to rank World No. 1 in on the ATP, and WTA rankings are Chris Evert, Jennifer Capriati, Jim Courier, Andy Roddick, and many more.

ATF U12 South Asian Qualifiers: India win Girls’ & Boys’ Competitions
ISLAMABAD (Sports Desk): The exciting ATF U12 Team Competition South Asian Qualifying Event, held at Kathmandu, Nepal, concluded with India emerging victorious in both the Boys' and Girls' categories competitions. The tournament, hosted by the Nepal Tennis Association and supported by the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation, saw seven nations from the South Asian region battle it out for a coveted spot at the U12 Finals later this year.In a thrilling boys' final, top-seeded India defeated Pakistan with a 2-0 score to claim the championship title. Sri Lanka secured a hard-fought 3-0 victory over Bangladesh in the 3rd-4th place playoff to clinch the bronze medal. Nepal outplayed Maldives in a close 2-1 contest to finish fifth, while Maldives and Bhutan rounded out the standings in sixth and seventh place respectively.The girls' category witnessed India maintaining their dominance, securing their fourth consecutive win with a 2-0 victory over Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka finished a close second with three wins, while Bangladesh managed a commendable third place with two wins. The host nation, Nepal, finally found their winning touch, defeating Maldives in a tight 2-1 encounter to finish fourth. Maldives, unfortunately, couldn't register a win throughout the tournament.

Pakistani teenagers confirm their berth in ITF Asia Under-12 finalsAbdul Jabbar FaisalKathmandu (Nepal): India overcame Pakistan 2-0 in the final of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) Under-12 Team Competition Qualifying Event that concluded in Kathmandu, Nepal on Friday.According to available information from abroad, despite the loss against India, Pakistani teenagers have secured a spot in the ITF Asia U12 Finals set to take place in Kazakhstan later this year.Non-playing team Captain Abid said: "The team's overall performance was remarkable, as the boys played exceptionally well throughout the tournament, making it to the final and qualifying for the World Championships. Unfortunately, we couldn't tide-over India in the final. We need to work harder, and Insha’Allah, we will perform very well in Kazakhstan."Aisam ul Haq Qureshi, President, Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) said: "The team's performance in the competition was great and acceptable, as our guys defeated Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh to reach the final. We are focusing on junior development in Pakistan. Our team's participation in the competition after two years and reaching the final is a substantial achievement. Qualifying for the ITF Asia U12 finals is a significant milestone."Former Davis Cupper and Pride of performance Hameed Ul Haq said in his statement: “Although, we lost the final against India, however, Pakistani talented players produced notable performances in the tournament and confirmed their berth in the Kazakhstan fixture.
