Islamabad (Sports News): Pakistan Junior Women’s Hockey Team made a strong start at the Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2026, defeating Hong Kong China 2–0 in the Challenger Pool.
Shariqa was the star of the match, scoring both goals for Pakistan in 34th minute and 48th minute.
The national team displayed excellent attacking hockey, disciplined defending and strong team coordination, keeping Hong Kong China from finding the net.
PHF President Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani congratulated the players and officials on their impressive performance and expressed his hope that the team will continue its winning momentum in the upcoming matches.
