Quetta (Pakistan):- Hyderabad, Quetta, Karachi and Attock have won their matches of the 2nd day of ongoing National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2022 (Grade-2), Quetta on Saturday.

Hosts Quetta registered second back-to-back 10 wickets win the tournament.

 Results (Day-2)

Game-1: Hyderabad beat Gilgit by 117 runs at Bolan Stadium

In the morning, Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bat first. Hyderabad set a healthy total of 235 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in stipulated 15 overs. Imran Sarwar played brilliant innings of 86 runs and Ubaid Ullah scored 65 runs. Irfan Claimed 2 wickets for Gilgit.

In Reply Gilgit made 118 runs in stipulated 15 overs for the loss of 6 wickets.  Nabi Ullah was the top scorer with 28 runs and Shoeb Mir made 23 runs. For Hyderabad Mohsin Ahmed took 2 wickets while Amjad and Ubaid Ullah took 1 wicket each.

Result: Hyderabad won by 117 runs

Game-2: Quetta beat Sargodha by 10 wickets at Shola Cricket Ground

Quetta won the toss and put Sargodha in to bat first. Sargodha made 168 runs in allotted 15 overs. Zain Ashraf was the top scorer with 70 runs and Gul Sher made 51 runs. Abdul Rasheed and Kaleem Ullah shared a wicket apiece. 

In reply, Quetta chased the target in style in 12.5 overs without losing any wicket. Niamat Ullah played superbly and remained unbeaten on 102* runs, he was well supported by Mohammad Saleem who made unbeaten 54* runs.

Result: Quetta won by 10 wickets

Game-3: Karachi beat Multan by 7 wickets at Bolan Stadium

Karachi chased a mammoth total of 274 runs in 19th over. Tahir Ali’s ton helped Karachi to win the contest. Earlier, Multan batted first and piled up a huge total of 273 runs on the board for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Mohammad Safdar played extraordinary innings of 93 runs; he was well supported by Ghulam Akbar, who scored 90 runs. Hassan Raza and Abdul Wahab Khan took 1 wicket each.

In reply, the outstanding innings of Tahir Ali helped Karachi to win the match. Tahir Ali scored 118 runs. Shoeb Khan made quick 38 runs. Karachi chased the target in 18.3 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.

Result: Karachi won by 7 wickets

Game-4: Attock beat Faisalabad by 6 wickets at Shola Cricket Ground

Attock won the toss and put Faisalabad in to bat first.  Faisalabad were bowled out on 139 runs in 15 overs. Ejaz Hussain was the top scorer with 27 runs while Hamza Mehboob made 18 runs. Bashir Ahmed was the pick amongst the bowler; he claimed 4 wickets and Mohammad Sohail took 3 wickets.

In reply, Attock reached the target in 13 overs by losing their 4 wickets. Mohammad Sohail was the highest scorer with 30 runs and he was well supported by Mohammad Raheel who made unbeaten 28* runs. Danish and Mohammad Adeel fetched 1 wicket each for Faisalabad.

Result: Attock won by 6 wickets
