NBP T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy: Hosts Quetta claim massive victory against Faisalabad

Quetta (Pakistan):-Hosts Quetta posted a massive victory by 10 wickets against Faisalabad in the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2022 (Grade-2) at Bolan Cricket Stadium Quetta on Friday.

Also, Multan, Karachi and Attock have won their matches of the cricket trophy. Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) inaugurated the event, Syed Salman Bokhari and Aatif Qayyum Directors PBCC were also the other dignitaries present on the occasion.

Results:

Game-1: Quetta beat Faisalabad by 10 wickets at Bolan Stadium:

Quetta won the toss and put Faisalabad in to bat first. Faisalabad were bowled out on 188 runs in 18.1 overs. Bilal Ali was the top scorer with 59 runs and Noman Naseer made 17 runs. Niamat Ullah, Mohammad Shahid and Kaleem Ullah took 2 wickets each for Quetta.

In reply, Quetta chased the target in style in 13 overs without losing any wicket. Quetta’s Captain Naseeb Ullah played superbly and remained unbeaten on 120* runs, he was well supported by Mohammad Saleem who made unbeaten 54* runs.

Result: Quetta won by 10 Wickets

Game-2: Multan beat Gilgit by 10 wickets at Shola Cricket Ground:

Gilgit won the toss and decided to bat first. Gilgit scored only 144 runs in allotted 15 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Muzaffar Ali was the top scorer with 53 runs and Shoeb Mir made 30 runs. Mohammad Arslan took 2 wickets while Shahbaz and Sagheer Bukhari claimed a wicket apiece.

Multan in reply chased down the target of 145 runs rapidly in just 9.4 overs without any loss. Mohammad Safdar’s bat swung wildly and smashed unbeaten 83* runs. Ghulam Akbar made unbeaten 41* runs for Multan.

Result: Multan won by 10 wickets

Game-3: Attock beat Sargodha by 153 runs at Bolan Stadium:

Ehtisham ul Haq’s superb innings of 115 runs helped Attock to rout Sargodha by a huge margin of 153 runs.

Attock put into bat first by Sargodha, piled up a huge total of 383 runs on the board for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Ehtisham ul Haq shined with the bat, he scored 115 runs. Zeshan was the second highest run-getter with 75 runs. Gul Sher took 1 wicket.

In reply, Sargodha chasing 384 was able to score 230 runs in the allocated 20 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Gul Sher was their top scorer with 70 runs. Awais Raza took 2 wickets for Attock.

Result: Attock won by 153 runs

Man of the Match: Ehtisham ul Haq

Game-4: Karachi beat Hyderabad by 30 runs at Shola Ground:

Hyderabad won the toss and elected to bowl first. Karachi set the competitive total of 193 runs on the board for the loss of 8 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Mohammad Ali Akasha was the highest scorer with 37 runs while Shoeb khan made 24 runs. Ubaid Ullah Claimed 2 wickets while Amjad Ali and Mohsin Ahmed shared a wicket apiece.

In Reply Hyderabad scored 163 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets.  Amjad Hussain was the top scorer with 49 runs and Imran Sarwar made 39 runs. For Karachi, Hassan Raza took 2 wickets and Kashif claimed 1 wicket.

Result: Karachi won by 30 runs
