ISLAMABAD: A five-man contingent of national athletes on Wednesday left for China to take part in 12th Asian Indoor Athletic Championship-2026.
According to president, Athletics Federation of Pakistan, Brig (Rtd), Wajahat Hussain the 12th Asian Indoor Athletic Championship-2026 will be held from
February, 6 to 8, at Tianjin,China.
The 5-member national team namely, Shajar Abbas (60metre),Tameen Khan (60 metre), Mohammad Naeem (60 metre Hurdles), Mohammad Akhtar (3000 metre),Sohail Amer (1500 metre) will compete in the international fixture.
Chaudhry Asghar Ali Gill will act as Manager cum Coach with the team.
Men and Woman players from 35 county are participating in 3-day Championship.
