ISLAMABAD: Top two Pakistani tennis lads, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Aqeel Khan clinched the Men’s Doubles title of the 8th Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan National Ranking Tennis Tournament 2022 after ousting young guns Mohammad Abid and Mohammad Shoaib in straight sets 2-0 in the finalon Sunday at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex here.
Humayun Saifullah Khan (Former Provincial Minister of KPK) was the chief guest at the closing Ceremony. He distributed the prizes amongst the winners and runner-ups and stated that the tournament was very special to him and the whole Saifullah family, because of his great mother.
Khan also thanked all the players, especially Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi International tennis star and Pakistan No-1 Aqeel Khan and also the senior players, Rashid Malik, Israr Gul, Mahmood Khan, Mohammad Talha and Azeem Khan to participate in this mega national event.
The closing ceremony was also attended by Senator Taj Haider, Iftikhar Rashid-SEVP-PTF, Asif Saifullah Khan, Haider Saifullah Khan, Asif Ali Shah Ex Federal Secretary, Shakeel Durrani Ex-Chairman WAPDA and other diplomats, tennis players, coaches, parents, and PTF officials.

Men's Doubles: Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi / Aqeel Khan beat Mohammad Abid and Mohammad Shoaib 6-2, 6-4
Boys 18& Under Singles: Sami Zeb Khan beat Mohammad Talha Khan 3-6, 6-0, 6-1
Boys 14& Under Singles: Abubakar Talha beat Abdul Basit 4-2, 4-1
Boys / Girls 12& Under Singles: Hassan Usmani bt Abdur Rehman 0-4, 4-1, 4-0
