ISLAMABAD: Emerging tennis player, Mohammad Zaryab Khan pairing with Azat Sarsembaev from Kazakhstan sealed back-to-back second title of the ITF Pakistan World Juniors Tennis Championship after overcoming Aarav Samrat Hada and Aki Zuben Rawat 2-1 on set-break here at PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Friday. The final score-line was 6-4, 4-6 and 10-5.

It is important to mention here that Mohammad Zaryab Khan and Azat Sarsembaev had secured the Leg-1 title of the ITF Juniors’ Tennis Championship at the same venue on November 11, 2022. However, in the Boys’ Doubles final on Friday, both the winning lads proved too good for their opponents after showing their class especially in the first set and then in the set-break tie in a feisty battle. A sizable number of tennis lovers enjoyed the top-quality game of tennis.

Earlier, in the Girls’ Doubles final, the pair of Deren Ozel from Turkey and Polina Kaibekova from Russia trounced Lia Belibova from Moldova and Melissa Jangarasheva from Kazakhstan in straight sets with the score-line was 6-2 and 6-1. It was a single sided affair, as the winner of the Girls’ Singles of Leg-1, Lia Belibova could not perform up to mark in the doubles’ final.
