Islamabad (SBR): The Pakistan National Football Team will depart for Kuwait in the wee hours of October 12 on a direct flight from Islamabad for their upcoming away fixture against Afghanistan in the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers.The match is scheduled to take place at the Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium in Ardiya, Kuwait, with kickoff set for 10:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time.In the home leg held earlier in Islamabad, Pakistan and Afghanistan played out a goalless draw, earning one point each in Group E of the qualifiers.Pakistan has been drawn in Group E, alongside Afghanistan, Myanmar and Syria.

With all the small issues we had, especially with some players arriving a little late, it’s not easy. They will now take on England at the same venue on Wednesday, 15 October.After being put into bat, the defending champions struggled to score runs against Pakistan’s bowlers as they lost seven wickets for just 76 runs and were 115 for eight after Kim Garth (11, 47b) fell to Diana Baig in the 34th over. At that stage, Beth Mooney was joined by Alana King and the pair put together a record 106-run partnership for the ninth wicket.During the course of the stand, number 10 batter King brought up her maiden half-century and returned unbeaten on 51 off 49 balls, including three fours and as many sixes. Ticket on sale: Pakistan vs South Africa
Lahore (PR): The tickets for the two-Test match series between Pakistan and South Africa will go on sale later today from 5pm. The online tickets will be available here, while physical tickets for the Test matches will be available at TCS Express Centres from Thursday, 8 October (infographic attached).The first Test will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from 12 to 16 October, while the second Test will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from 20 to 24 October. Both Test matches are part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27.The tickets for six white-ball matches (three T20Is, three ODIs) will go on sale online and available at TCS Express Centres from 16 October.
