T20 Blinds Cricket: Kashmir beat Islamabad by 5 wickets in final
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Kashmir Blinds’ cricket team outplayed Islamabad by 5 wickets in the final of the T20 Cricket Championships Trophy here at E-9 cricket ground on Wednesday.Islamabad decided to bat first after winning the toss and set a 259 for 6 runs total on the board. Akmal scored 88 runs and shahzaib scored quick 74 runs off 32 balls for Islamabad. In reply, Kashmir chased the target just 2 balls earlier for the loss of 5 wickets captain Nisar scored an innings of 172 off 73 balls. Kashmir won the match by 5 wickets. Shahzaib, Matiullah and Fakhar Abbas shared wicket a piece from Islamabad.NISAR Ali was named man of the match. Riasat Khan from Abbottabad was awarded best player in B1 Category, Kamran Akhtar was awarded best player in B2 Category, Mohammad Rashid was awarded best player in B3 Category and NISAR Ali was awarded best Wicket-Keeper of the tournament award.According to an official of the Islamabad Blinds Cricket Association (IBCA), local media was not allowed to cover this event.

Hosts Islamabad to face Kashmir in the final today at E-9 PAF cricket groundSports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Kashmir and Islamabad have won their last league matches to confirm to play the final of the PAF T20 Cricket Championships Trophy for the Blind 2024 here at E-9 cricket ground on Tuesday. The final will be played on Wednesday at the same venue.In the first match, Kashmir got a convincing victory over Abbottabad by 7 wickets. Abbottabad scored 215 in 20 overs. Risat Khan scored 82 runs from Abbottabad. In reply, Kashmir easily chased the target in 12.3 overs for the loss of 5 wickets Kamran Akhtar scored 97 and Rashid scored 75 not out runs. Kamran was named man of the match.In the second match, Islamabad won the toss and decided to bat first. Islamabad scored 265 runs in the allotted 20 overs without loss of any wicket. Shahzaib scored 120 runs not off 58 balls and Akmal scored 117 after facing 65 balls. In reply, Bahawalpur could manage 232 runs for the loss of 9 wickets and Islamabad won the match with 33 runs. Mohammad Rashid was the top scorer with 47 runs. Hasnain took 2 wickets. Shahzaib, and Anees claimed one wicket a piece. Shahzaib Haider was awarded Man of the Match on his notable performance.

T20 Blinds Cricket: Bahawalpur and Kashmir post victories
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Bahawalpur and Kashmir have won their matches of the PAF T20 Cricket Championships Trophy for the Blind 2024 after beating Abbottabad and Islamabad respectively by 10 wickets and 41 runs at E-9 cricket ground on Monday.In the first match, Bahawalpur got a thumping victory over Abbottabad by 10 wickets. Abbottabad scored 184 in 20 overs. Naeemullah was the top scorer with 84 runs from Abbottabad. In reply, Bahawalpur easily chased the target in 9.4 overs without wasting any batter. Unbeaten batters Moin scored 97 and Rashid scored 75 runs. Moin was named man of the match for his superb innings.In the second match, Islamabad won the toss and opted to bowl first. Kashmir scored 251 in stimulated 20 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Nisar scored 112 not out and Kamran Akhtar scored 73 runs from Kashmir. In reply, Islamabad could manage just 210 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. Kashmir won the match with 41 runs. Matiullah was the top scorer with 70 runs. Idress and Tehsin shared wicket a piece. Nisar was awarded Man of the Match on his brilliant century.On Tuesday, the first match will be played between Kashmir and Abbottabad while the second match will be played between Bahawalpur and Islamabad at the same venue.

T20 Blinds Cricket: Islamabad and Kashmir claim victories
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: Hosts Islamabad and Kashmir registered wins in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) T20 Cricket Championships Trophy after beating Abbottabad by 8 wickets and Bahawalpur by 1 run respectively on Sunday at PAF Cricket Ground E-9 Islamabad. Air Commodore Mohammad Hassan Afzal TI (M), Base Commander, PAF Base Islamabad graced the opening ceremony as chief guest.  In the first match, Islamabad outclassed Abbottabad by 8 wickets. Abbottabad bowled out in 18 on 107 runs. Riasat Khan was the top scorer with 22 runs from Abbottabad. Shahzaib took 3 wickets while Matiullah took two wickets. In reply, Islamabad easily chased the target in 10.2 overs with a brisk knock of 36 by Shahzaib Haider, who was named man of the match for his all-round performance.In the second match, Bahawalpur opted to bowl first after winning the toss. Kashmir scored 242 in stimulated 20 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Kamran Akhtar scored 88 runs from Kashmir. In reply, Bahawalpur scored 241 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of two wickets thus Kashmir won the match by 1 run. Rashid was the top scorer with 136 runs, and he was awarded Man of the Match.On Monday, two matches will be played, as in the first match will be played between Bahawalpur and Abbottabad while the second match will be played between Kashmir and Islamabad at the same venue.

Karachi guys set a 231 runs total on the board in a 20 over per inning fixture. Both opener batters did well with the bat and remained unbeaten after playing all 20 overs. Tahir Ali was the top scorer. He played an unbeaten innings of 120 runs off 74 balls while his partner made Ayoub Khan 93 not out off 52 balls.Abbottabad opening batters didn’t give any chance to the Karachi bowlers and reached the target in 18.4 overs. Riasat Khan scored 110 runs off 62 balls while his teammate Naeem Ullah played an unbeaten innings of 79 runs off 53 balls. Abbottabad reached the target of 232 runs in 18.4 overs without any loss. Sports Bulletin ReportFAISALABAD: Karachi and Abbottabad qualified for the final of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) T-20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2023 (Grade-2), as the final will be played on Sunday at Bohranwali Cricket Ground, Faisalabad.Karachi beat Attock by 5 wickets (Bohranwali Cricket Ground):In the morning, Karachi won the toss and put Attock into bat first. Attcok set the competitive total of 239 runs on the board for loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Ehtisham ul Haq played a fantastic innings of unbeaten 134* runs off 79 balls and Mohammad Noman made 35 runs off 36 balls. Mohammad Ali Akasha bowled splendidly and took 3 wickets for Karachi.  In reply, Karachi reached the target on the last ball of the 20th over by losing their 5 wickets. Ayoub Khan once again shined with the bat and played an extraordinary innings of unbeaten 117* runs off 62 balls. Jandal Khan also made a useful contribution of 62 runs off 42 balls. For Attock, Mohammad Noman and Ehtisham ul Haq claimed 2 wickets each. Ayoub Khan got man of the match award.Abbottabad beat Sargodha by 52 runs (Bohranwali Cricket Ground):The second semifinal of the event was played between Abbottabad and Sargodha. Sargodha won the toss and elected to bowl first. Abbottabad’s openers Riasat Khan and Naeem Ullah toiled the weak bowling of Sargodha and both knitted 236 runs for the 1st wicket partnership. Abbottabad posted a gigantic total of 259 runs on the board for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Riasat Khan played a superb innings of unbeaten 116* runs off 62 balls. Naeem Ullah was the 2nd highest scorer with 100 runs off 59 balls.In reply, Sargodha was restricted to 207 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Zain Ashraf was their highest scorer with 68 runs off 50 balls and Gul Sher made 64 runs off 38 balls. Asnaad Khan took 2 Wickets and Mohammad Adeel claimed 1 wicket for Abbottabad. Both semifinals will be played on Saturday at Bohranwali Cricket Ground Faisalabad.Abbottabad beat Sheikhopura by 120 runs (HPC Centre Chak-8):Abbottabad won the toss and decided to bat first. Abbottabad made 241 runs in allotted 20 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Asnaad Khan was the top scorer with 36 off 24 balls. Irfan Ullah was the 2nd highest scorer with 35 runs off 30 balls. Raheel Ahmed took 2 wickets while Majid and Sohaib Mehtab claimed 1 wicket each for Sheikhopura. In reply, Sheikhopura couldn’t make the most of the batting friendly conditions and made just 121 runs in stipulated 20 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Ashraf Bhatti made 36 runs off 50 balls. Asnaad Khan took 1 wicket for Abbottabad. Asnaad Khan got man of the match award.Karachi beat Quetta by 46 runs (Bohranwali Ground):Quetta won the toss and decided to bowl first. Abdullah, Zaran and Asif took 1 wicket each.In reply, Sargodha chased down the target in 14.1 for the loss of 4 wickets. Gul Sher played exceptionally well and scored 62 off 43 balls. Shakeel and Mustafa Kamal shared 1 wicket each for Gilgit. Quetta set the competitive total of 195 runs on the board for the loss of 6 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Mohammad Saleem was the top scorer with 84 runs off 60 balls and Naseb Ullah made 46 runs off 23 balls. Abdul Malik took 1 wicket for Sargodha. In reply, Sargodha chased down the target of 196 runs in 19.1 overs by losing their 2 wickets. Zain Ashraf played a superb innings of unbeaten 79* runs off 56 balls. He was the highest scorer and Tanveer remained not out on 54* runs off 37 balls. Mohammad Shahid and Mohammad Saleem claimed 1 wicket each for Quetta. Ayoub Khan’s terrific innings of unbeaten 140* runs off 60 balls helped Karachi to set a huge total of 292 runs on the board for the loss of 1 wicket in allotted 20 overs. Tahir Ali also made useful contribution of 96 runs off 55 balls. For Gilgit-Baltistan, Shoeb ul Hassan and Shakeel Ahmed took 1 wicket each.In reply, Gilgit Baltistan were bowled out on 143 runs in 16.5 overs. Shoaib Khan and Bismillah Khan made 30 and 26 runs respectively. Mohammad Abdullah was the only bowler to claim a wicket.In reply, Sargodha chased the target of 171 runs in 18.4 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Gul Shair played superbly for his 80 runs off 56 balls while Zain Ashraf made unbeaten 60 runs. Rashed Akbar claimed 1 wicket. Bahawalpur openers Mohammad Rashid and Moain Aslam gave them a brisk and solid start. Their first wicket fell at the score of 161 runs when Mohammad Rashid was run out after scoring 93 runs off 54 balls. Moain Aslam and Zafar Iqbal then made another formidable partnership. Bahawalpur posted a mammoth total of 231 runs on the board in stipulated 20 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Maoin Aslam made 85 runs off 53 balls and Zafar Iqbal played a little cameo of 22 runs off 9 balls.Lahore in reply played exceptionally well and chased the target of 232 runs in the last over of the innings in a nail-biting finish for the loss of 1 wicket. Badar Munir exceptional form with the bat continues he remained unbeaten on 123 runs off just 70 balls featuring 20 (4’s) while Mohammad Salman played a handy innings of 76 runs off 40 balls to guide their side home.
