Pakistan ready to take revenge against India in next T20 World Cup: Sultan

Islamabad:-Pakistan is all set and well prepared to take revenge against India in the upcoming 3rd T20 Blinds’ Cricket World Cup, which will be taken place in the three cities of India from December 4 to 17 this year 2022, said Chairman Pakistan Blinds’ Cricket Council (PBCC), Syed Sultan Shah during an exclusive sitting with Editor www.sports-bulletin.com at his office.
“Green Shirts had lost the finals against India in the previous two editions of the T20 World Cup, as our team was going through a new shape and in a building process. Now we have set the thing to overcome all the challenges in the third World Cup, which will be played at Bangalore, Delhi and Faridabad. Besides Pakistan, hosts India, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka will fight for the top honour in the World Cup, “he added.
Sultan Shah, who is also president World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC), further said that Pakistan Greens and Pakistan Whites would play three T20 practice matches on September 24 and 25 at Mirpur cricket ground. “We will hold the training camps in two parts, as in the first phase the camp will be staged from October 23 to 31 at Bahawalpur and in the second at Lahore from November 20 to December 3, 2022, as our team will enter in India via Waga Border, “he said.
Responding to a question, he revealed that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) enhanced the annual grant of PBCC from Rs.18 million to 22 million. “I met with Chairman PCB Ramiz Hasan Raja in April 2022 and he was very kind to us and assured us to provide maximum support to blind cricket in Pakistan. This financial help is for all national and international fixtures. PCB also awarded one million rupees to the winning team of the Dubai tri-nation tournament, “Sultan Shah indulged.
Head of the PBCC Syed Sultan Shah to another question said that Pakistan blind cricket team would also participate in the World Blinds Games, which would be held in England under the banner of International Blinds Sports Federation (IBSF) in August 2023, “We will also try to host 2025 T20 Blind Cricket World Cup and we have lot of international and national activities in upcoming couple of years. We have invitations for bilateral series but we are not in position to give green signals at this time, “he maintained.
Regarding domestic cricket he said, “PBCC will organize two tournaments in Multan and Bahawalpur respectively in October and November this year 2022. Our major aim is to provide maximum opportunities to upcoming players at the local level. We are also inducting young blood in the national team, as the number of players is increasing in the country. Our selection committee pickups the boys on merit and performance, “he concluded.
Blinds Cricket World Cup: PBCC names 21 players for squad

ISLAMABAD:-Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) has shortlisted the twenty-one (21) players as the probable of Pakistan Blind Cricket Team for the 3rd World Cup Cricket of the Blind to be held in India in December 2022.
These players have been shortlisted after viewing their performances in the recent past tournaments. Syed Sultan Shah Chairman of PBCC has approved the names of the World Cup probable Team. The final team of 17 players will be selected in November 2022.

PBCC announces stipend for 17 players

ISLAMABAD:-Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) has announced the Honorarium for 17 national players, who performed notably well in recent domestic and international competitions.
According to an official of PBCC, the players will receive a monthly Honorarium for the term of the next six (6) months, starting from July 2022 to December 2022. Category A players will get Rs. 20,000 while Category B will pocket Rs. 17,000/ per month. Category C players will be awarded Rs. 15,000 per month. PBCC has increased the honorarium amount by Rs=2,500/ each in all categories.

PBCC Blind T-20 Super League 2022: Balochistan stun Punjab by 9 wickets in final

ISLAMABAD:-Balochistan have won the title of the 5th Pakistan Blinds’ Cricket Council (PBCC) Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2022 after beating Punjab by 9 wickets in the final at Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground Abbottabad on Wednesday.
Balochistan won the toss and put Punjab into bat first. Punjab set a competitive total of 219 runs on the board by losing their 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Mohammad Rashid was the top scorer for Punjab, he made 74 off 41 balls and Mohammad Safdar made 43 runs off 29 balls. For Balochistan, Badar Munir was the pick amongst the bowlers; he claimed 2 wickets while Kamran and Fakhar took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Balochistan openers started the innings rapidly and didn’t allow the Punjab Bowlers to get settled. Badar Munir once again talked with his bat, he scored an unbeaten146 runs off 63 balls. Mohsin Khan and Riasat Khan made 29 and 28 runs respectively. Balochistan reached the target of 220 runs in 17.1 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Shahzeb took 1 wicket for Punjab. Baluchistan and Punjab storm into the Final of Blind Cricket T-20

ABBOTTABAD:-Punjab and Baluchistan moved into the final of 5th PBCC National T-20 Blind Cricket Tournament. The final will be played on Wednesday at the Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground Abbottabad.
In the first match, Balochistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Sindh made 191 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Muhammad Akram was the top scorer for Sindh, he made 100 off 55 balls and Muhammad Faisal made 27 runs off 22 balls. For Balochistan, Badar Munir was the pick amongst the bowlers; he claimed 2 wickets while Akmal and Fakhar took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Balochistan reached the target of 192 runs in 15.4 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Badar Munir was the pick of the batters for Balochistan, scoring an unbeaten 122* runs off 48 balls and Mohsin Khan made 34 runs. Kashif Siddique took 1 wicket for Sindh.
Meanwhile in the second fixture of the day, Khyber PakhtunKawa (KPK) won the toss and asked Punjab to take guard. Punjab made a mammoth total of 250 runs in allotted 20 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Muhammad Rashid once again shined with the bat, he played a terrific innings of an unbeaten 146* runs off 66 balls while Anees Javed made 56 runs off 44 balls. Yasir Malik fetched 1 wicket for KPK.
KPK in reply tried its best to reach the target of 251 runs but fell 3 runs short of the target. KPK’s team was able to score 247 runs by losing their 3 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Moeen Aslam was the top scorer with an unbeaten 121* runs off 66 balls and Mati Ullah chipped in with 69 runs off 36 balls. Sajid Nawaz and Shahzeb Haider shared a wicket each.

Balochistan and Sindh record victories in Blind Cricket

ABBOTTABAD:-Balochistan and Sindh have won their matches on the Day-5 of 5th PBCC Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2022 after beating their opponents at Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground Abbottabad on Monday.
Results (Day-5):
Game-1 (Balochistan beat Punjab by 10 wickets)
Baloshistan won the toss and asked Punjab to take guard. Punjab posted 208 runs on the board for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Mohammad Safdar played beautifully for his 66 runs off 39 balls while Mohammad Rashid made 32 runs for Punjab. Badar Munir and Abdul Manan shared a wicket apiece.
The target of 209 runs wasn’t proved tough to the robust batting lineup of Balochistan and they chased down quite easily in just 16 overs without losing any wicket. Badar Munir once again shined with the bat and played a marvelous innings of unbeaten 105* runs off 53 balls. Mohsin Khan was the second highest scorer with unbeaten 86* runs off 46 balls.

KPK won the toss and opted to bat first. KPK set the competitive total of 219 runs on the board for the loss of 4 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Mati Ullah was the highest scorer with 78 runs off 42 balls while Mohammad Rizwan made 57 runs off 40 balls for KPK. Israr Hassan and Kashif took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Sindh team’s captain Nisar Ali played a superb innings of unbeaten 121* runs off 55 balls, helping his side to beat KPK by 8 wickets. Mohammad Faisal was the second highest scorer with 50 runs off 25 balls. Sindh reached the target in 17.5 overs by losing their 2 wickets. Mati Ullah and Ayyas shared a wicket each.

PBCC T-20 Blind Cricket: Balochistan stun KPK by 10 wickets

ABBOTTABAD:-Balochistan claimed a massive victory against Khyber PukhtoonKawa (PK) by 10 wickets in the Pakistan Blinds’ Cricket Council (PBCC) National T-20 Cricket Championship at Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground, Abbottabad on Sunday. In the other match of the day Punjab defeated Sindh by 24 runs at the same venue.

Game-1 (Balochistan beat KPK by 10 wickets):
Badar’s all-round performance helped Balochistan to thrash KPK. In the morning, KPK won the toss and decided to bat first but their decision proved off beam. Badar Munir opened the bowling for Balochistan and took the hat-trick in the first over and KPK couldn’t recover from this big jolt. KPK made 164 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs, Sanaullah was their top scorer with 68 runs off 51 balls and Naseeb Ullah made 55 runs. Badar Munir took 4 wickets and Kamran Akhter claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, Badar’s devastating innings of 100 runs off 38 balls featuring 15 (4’s) and 3 sixes helped Balochistan to reach the target in just 9.5 overs without any loss. Akmal Hayyat also chipped in with 44 runs off 27 balls.
Result: Balochistan won by 10 wickets

Game-2 (Punjab beat Sindh by 24 runs)
Sindh won the toss and decided to bowl first. Sindh tighten the screws till the 10th over and Punjab was hovering at 88 runs for 2 wickets, thereafter Punjab accumulated 131 runs in the last 10 overs of the innings and finished at 219 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Mohammad Rashid was the star with the bat, he made 119 runs off 61 balls.
Sindh in reply, tried well but fell 24 runs short of the target. Sindh made 195 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Nisar Ali made 52 runs off 22 balls and Faisal Mehmood remained unbeaten at 40 runs. Shahzaib Haider took 2 wickets while Sajid Nawaz and Anees Javed claimed a wicket a piece.

ABBOTTABAD:-Punjab and Sindh have won their matches of the ongoing Pakistan Blinds’ Cricket Council (PBCC) Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2022 after beating Khyber PkhtuneKawa (KPB) and Balochistan by 2 and 7 wickets respectively on Saturday at Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground, Abbottabad.
Day-3
Game-1 (Punjab beat KPK by 2 wickets)
Punjab won the match on the last ball in a sensational finish. Early in the morning Punjab won the toss and put KPK into bat. KPK made 195 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Moeen Aslam was the top scorer for KPK, he made 66 off 47 balls while Naseeb Ullah made 31 runs off 24 balls. For Punjab, Shahzaib Haider was the pick amongst the bowler, he claimed 3 wickets while Muhammad Asif took 2 wickets.
In reply, Punjab started well and their first wicket fell at the score of 40, when Anees Javed was bowled by Yasir, he made 14 runs. Zafar Iqbal couldn’t make the impact either he got out after scoring 2 runs. Wickets kept falling while Muhammad Safdar kept the scoreboard ticking, he made 46 off 35 balls. Punjab chased the target in a nail-biting finish at the last ball of the innings with the help of brisk innings of Muhammad Rashid, he made 26 runs off 19 balls. Punjab lost 8 wickets during the process.

Game-2 (Sindh beat Balochistan by 7 wickets)
Sindh won the toss and decided to bowl first. Balochistan posted a huge total of 225 runs on the board for the loss of 1 wicket in stipulated 20 overs. Badar Munir was the star with the bat, he made unbeaten 136 runs off 67 balls with the help of 14 (4’s) and 3 sixes, while Riasat Khan made 68 runs off 53 balls. Israr Hasan was the only bowler to claim the only wicket.
In reply, Sindh’s Captain Nisar Ali played extraordinary innings of 82 runs off 44 balls featuring 13 (4’s) and helped his side to reach the mammoth target of 226 runs in 19.2 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Faisal Mehmood also played a gem of the innings he got out after scoring 75 runs off 41 balls featuring 8 (4’s) and 1 six.

Day-2
Game-1: (KPK beat Sindh by 21 runs)
Matiullah’s captain’s innings of 71 runs helped KPK to beat Sindh by 21 runs. KPK won the toss and decided to bat first. KPK’s batsmen played superbly well and set the competitive total of 200 runs on the board for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Moeen Aslam was the second highest with 30 runs. Kashif Siddique and Israr Hassan grabbed 2 wickets each.
In reply, Sindh tried its best to reach the target of 201 runs but fell 21 runs short of the target. Sindh’s team was able to score 179 runs by losing their 7 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Nisar Ali was their top scorer with 70 runs and Haroon Khan made 44 runs. Rizwan & Ayyaz took 2 wickets each while Shahzeb claimed 1 wicket.

Punjab won the toss and asked Balochistan to bat first. Balochistan posted a tiny total of 179 runs on the board for the loss of 5 wickets in allotted 18 overs. Riasat Khan was the highest scorer with 70 runs. Mohammad Safdar fetched 1 wicket.
The target of 180 runs wasn’t proved tough for the healthy batting lineup of Punjab and they achieved the target easily in 15 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Mohammad Safdar was the top scorer for Punjab who scored unbeaten 84* runs while Zafar Iqbal played a supportive inning of unbeaten 36* runs.

PBCC Blind Cricket T-20: Sindh and Balochistan earn victories

ABBOTTABAD:-The 5th edition of Pakistan Blinds’ Cricket Council (PBCC) Blind Cricket T-20 Super League 2022 commenced with the opening day victories of Sindh and Balochistan, as they defeated Punjab and Khyber PakhtunKawa (KPK) respectively by 8 wickets at Ayub Medical College Cricket Ground, Abbottabad.
Four (4) provincial teams Sindh, Punjab, KPK and Balochistan are fighting for the title. Legendary Pakistan Cricket Star Abdul Razzaq inaugurated the event by hitting the ball. He was accompanied by Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman Pakistan Blind Cricket Council, Dr. Umer Farooq, Dean, Ayub Medical College and Sardar Shuja Nabi, City Mayor Abbottabad.

Game-1
Sindh beat Punjab by 8 wickets:
Due to overnight rain and wet outfield umpires decided to reduce the match to 12 overs per innings. Sindh won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Punjab team made 120 for 7 runs in allotted 12 overs. Zafar Iqbal was the highest scorer with 36 runs and Sanwal made 16 runs. Babar and Salman grabbed 1 wicket each.
Sindh, in reply chased down the target in 11.1 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Mohammad Faisal shined with the bat and played a superb inning of unbeaten 60 runs, helped his side to beat Punjab by 8 wickets. Mohammad Salman was the second highest scorer with 16 runs. Sajid took 1 wicket.
Result: Sindh won by 8 Wickets

Game-2:
Balochistan beat KPK by 8 wickets:
Balochistan won the toss and put KPK in to bat first. Balochistan bowling didn’t allow KPK batters to score runs fluently. KPK were restricted to 104 runs in allotted 12 overs by losing their 5 wickets. Moeen Aslam played beautifully for his 39 runs and Matiullah scored 28 runs. Mohsin Khan and Kamran took 1 wicket each.
The target of 105 runs wasn’t proved tough to the robust batting lineup of Balochistan and they chased down quite easily in 10.4 over for the loss of 2 wickets. Riasat Khan was the top scorer for Balochistan who scored 38 runs while Bismillah & Badar made 27 and 14 not out runs respectively. Shahzeb fetched 1 wicket for KPK.
Result: Balochistan won by 8 wickets
