ISLAMABAD: Three players, Shayan Afridi, Rashid Bachani, Mohammad Ibraheem Hussain Gill, and an official, Mohammad Nameer Shamsi have left for Singapore to participate in the ATF Under-12 & Under-Team Competition Finals, scheduled to be held from August 25 to 30, 2025.
According to an official of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), Pakistan secured their place in the Final after clinching the ATF U12 Regional Qualifying Event of South Asia in Sri Lanka in May 2025. Besides Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China, Korea, and Chinese Taipei players will fight for the top honour.
The Pakistan squad will consist of Shayan Afridi (Player), Rashid Bachani (Player), Mohammad Ibraheem Hussain Gill (Player), Mohammad Nameer Shamsi (Captain) during the international junior tennis competitions. Col. (R) Zia-ud-din Tufail, Secretary General PTF, also shared his encouragement, saying, our players are in good shape, and we look forward to their best performance in this important competition.
