Birmingham (UK): Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councilor Chaman Lal held a warm reception to mark the recognition of Pakistan's Blind Cricket team here at the Lord Mayor Parlor at Birmingham City Council.
Former Cabinet Member Councilor Wasim Zafar and Cabinet Member Councilor Saima Suleman from Birmingham City Council, Sajid Yousaf Social Worker also graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.
The Lord Mayor appreciated the Pakistan Team’s achievements in the game and extended his best wishes for the event. Syed Sultan Shah Chairman Pakistan Blind Cricket Council briefed the dignitaries about the history of Blind Cricket, its challenges, and achievements. At the end commemorating Shields were presented to Pakistani players.
