Pattya (Thailand): Duo of Pakistani former Davis Cupper tennis men, Hameed-ul-Haq and Rashid Malik posted victories in the first round of the 60+ Singles of the ITF Seniors’ Master Championship at Pattaya, Thailand.
Hameed-ul-Haq outplayed Indian man in straight sets 2-0 with the score-line of 6-3, 6-2 while Rashid Malik outclassed Miritello from Italy in straight sets 2-0 without conceding a single game. The final score-line was 6-0, 6-0.
Waqar Nisar defeated Dilibor Vojtisek from Czech Republic in similar style 2-0 with the score-line of 6-2, and 6-2 to move into the second round of 65+ singles.
