PESHAWAR (December 27, 2021):-The 1st Mir Awais Mohmand Open Volleyball Tournament concluded on Monday with the victory of Gandaw Mohammad Shah Club, who defeated Yakka Ghund Club in the final at Captain Rohullah Shaheed Sports Stadium in Ghalanai, Mohmand District.
As many as 20 teams from different cities of Pakhtunkhwa participated in the 4-day volleyball tournament. In the final match, Gandaw Muhammad Shah Club defeated Yakka Ghund Club after a tough contest. Shehzad Nabi, a representative of Al-Hamid Mineral Company, distributed cash prizes and trophies.
During the tournament, Mumtaz Mama, a popular volleyball commentator from Nowshera, amused the volleyball lovers with his commentary. In the end, Shehzad Nabi, Sports Representative of Mir Awais Mohmand, Managing Director of Alhamid Mineral Company, gave Rs. 50,000 in cash and cup to the winner team.
