Wajah wins Inter-Schools Rope Skipping Championship
SPORTS BULLETIN Karachi:-Wajah Hussein claimed the top position in the Boys’ Event of the 2nd National Inter-Schools Rope Skipping Championship 2022 that held under the banner of Pakistan Rope Skipping Federation (PRSF) in collaboration with Happy Home School. As many as 180 boys and girls from different 25 schools participated in the National Rope Skipping Championship. The opening ceremony started with the reception of the Holy Quran and the National Anthem. Happy Home School students demonstrate wonderful display Rope skipping skills. National Inter-School Rope Skipping Championship on September 15
SPORTS BULLETIN Karachi:-The 2nd National Inter-School Rope Skipping Championship will be held on September 15 and 16, 2022 under the supervision of Pakistan Rope Skipping Federation (PRSF) in with the collaborations of Happy Home School System (HHSS). According to an official of PRSF, it is expected 16 schools including 5 governments and 7 have confirmed their entries for the competitions. Agha Khan Morning Shift, Habib Public School, Fatimiyah Education Network, Meritorious Matric and Juniors, Sun Academy, City School and Aga Khan School College have confirmed their participation.
Inter-School & Inter-College Games from November 1 this year 2022
Sports Bulletin Report LAHORE:-The 10th Inter-School & Inter-Colleges Games will take place from November 1 to 5, 2022 at Lahore after the two years gap affected by the Covide-19 Pandemic. It was decided in the meeting of the Punjab Olympic Association. The Punjab Olympic Association has sent the invitation to all schools & colleges all over the Province of Punjab for their participation. The Punjab Olympic Association has started working for smooth arrangements for these Games.
Karachi players retain Inter Divisional Women Softball Championship title
Sports Bulletin Report KARACHI:-Defending champions Karachi softball team defeated Hyderabad by 8 runs to win 7th Inter Divisional Women's Softball Championship at Public School Hyderabad under the auspices of Sindh Softball Association (SSA). In the final, Hyderabad scored 1 run in the first innings. In reply, Karachi scored 4 runs. Hyderabad team could not score any runs in the second innings. Karachi players showed excellent play in their second innings by scoring 5 more runs and increasing their total score to 9 by winning against Hyderabad by 8 runs to clinch the championship. Sabin, Mursaleen and Farasha scored two runs each for Karachi. Tulsi Meghwar scored one run for Hyderabad. Karachi's Zarlash Shakeel was declared the best player of the final. Earlier in the match for the third position, Larkana defeated Sukkur by 9 to win the bronze medal. Adina Hassan of Karachi was awarded Best Hitter, Mursaleen Pervez Catcher, Sobia of Larkana Pitcher and Tulsi Meghwar of Hyderabad was awarded Best Fielder. Special guests at the awards ceremony were New Ports Institute Chairperson Huma Bukhari, Softball Federation of Pakistan Chairperson Tehmina Asif, Sindh Olympic Association Secretary Ahmed Ali Rajput, Fruit Nation's Faisal Khan, Advance Lab's Faisal Qasim, SSA President Wasim Hashmi and Secretary Muhammad Zeeshan Merchant distributed trophies, medals, certificates and gifts among the players. Speaking on the occasion, Huma Bukhari said: “Inter-Divisional Championship has not only provided ample opportunities for the players to showcase their talents but also enhanced the spirit of mutual harmony, brotherhood and love between them. "I am sure that the players who show outstanding performance in the event can be a part of Sindh and Pakistan national softball team in future", she said. Huma Bukhari said the SSA provided an ideal environment in the field of play including accommodation, food and transport facilities to the players and officials of all the teams participating in the championship.
Annual Sports Gala of International Islamic University Islamabad concludes
Sports Bulletin Report ISLAMABAD:-International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Schools PWD and Gulraiz Campuses held a colorful Annual Sports Gala at Jinnah Sports Complex Islamabad. Hundrads of the students and parents participated in different games. Seemabia Tahir Member Punjab Assembly and Spokesperson, Punjab Government was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. Syndicate Member of UET Taxila, Syndicate Member of RWP Women University, Member for board of Governor NAMAL and Member Selection Board UET Taxila were also among the special guests. The Event started with Qiraat from the verses of The Holy Quran and its Translation. Director IIUI Schools Mr Shehzad and Principals from both campuses gave a welcome note. March past of all levels (both branches) was a wonderful show. Students also sung the IIUI & IIUI School anthem and released Balloons in the air on arrival of Chief Guest. Students participated in different races like cow, rabbit, Sheep, lion, Giraffe, frog races in a beautiful getup. Karate display of students from different classes was presented in a beautiful manner. Rally race, sack and cycle race was an event worth seeing. Father's Tug of War and race was also an event able to be appreciated. Chief Guest distributed prizes among the winners of the games including Fathers of the students. While addressing the ceremony Seemabia Tahir said: “I have been extremely pleased to participate in this healthy sports event. It is a great achievement to successfully hold such a mega event. I congratulate Director Mohammad Shehzad, Principals Syeda Sidra Moazzam and Misbah Latif, Vice Principals, all Heads of Departments, faculty and students who all have made excellent contributions towards this event. It was more of a carnival where many sorts of cultural events were displayed. Most of all I congratulate the students who have displayed extreme discipline and competed for different events in a spirit of peaceful co-ordination and amity. The rank and file of varsity all deserves my thanks and hearty congratulations. She again appreciated the performance of the students and added that now-a-days such events are being increasingly recognized as an essential component of one’s life from both the educational and social perspective. It builds confidence, motivation and above all a sportsman’s spirit. Such activities also foster friendship and teamwork among students”. Director Mohammad Shehzad said: It was highly commendable on the part of parents for participating in such an activity, which is imperative to help build the life skills of sportsmanship, outdoor activities and physical fitness. Cultural and Sports activities are indeed a great help to keep our children and communities physically as well as mentally healthy. While talking to the media a student Wania Kashif from Grade-10 said that it was a great day for me to take part in such a healthy activity. Aashir Ahmed Khan from Grade-9 said that he felt very happy at this occasion.  Ibad-ur-Rehman from grade four and Areej Fatima from grade five were also very happy at this occasion and told the media that I desire such types of events to be made a part of the annual calendar of every school.  Hadia, Fizza, Ali Hassan, Faheem and many other students were also very happy and expressed the same feelings. The Gala ended with the National Anthem.
BARI IMAM SCHOOL WIN AHC-PCB GIRLS CRICKET CUP
Abdul Jabbar Faisal ISLAMABAD:-The Mashal Modal School Bari Imam (MMSBI) have won the 6th AHC-PCB Girls’ Cricket Cup after beating Islamabad Modal School for Girls (IMSG)’ F-6/1 here at F-9 Cricket ground on Wednesday, as the tournament was played under the banner of Australian High Commission (AHC) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that aimed to train the girls to enhance their game skills. In the final, IMSG scored 44 runs in 5 overs, as the Mashal School achieved their target in 4.4 overs. The four teams from different schools including Mashal Model School Bari Imam, SOS Children’s Village H-11, Islamabad Model School for Girls F-6/1 and Islamabad Model School for Girls I-9/1 Islamabad are the part of tournament. The girls attended a five-day coaching clinic in the lead-up to the competition conducted by PCB first class cricket coaches. On this occasion, Australia’s Chargé d’ Affaires, Bryce Hutchesson congratulated the girls and the schools on their participation and welcomed the continued support of the PCB for the annual AHC-PCB Girls’ Cricket Cup. “The Australian High Commission has been sponsoring girls’ cricket in Pakistan since 2016 to promote gender equality through sport. We began with a single annual tournament in Islamabad but have since expanded to Lahore and Karachi,” Hutchesson added. “Our countries share a passion for cricket, so we’re very pleased to support this event. Cricket and other sports can help tear down barriers and stereotypes. Every time these girls make some runs, take a wicket or hold a catch, they are taking a step towards greater equality,” he said. Hutchesson further said that High Commission was particularly happy to support the initiative during the Australian Cricket Team’s historic tour to Pakistan. “It’s an exciting time for cricket fans in both Australia and Pakistan. Cricket is one of the many bonds that bring our countries together,” he said.  The Head of Women’s Cricket at PCB, Tania Mallick said: “On the auspicious occasion of the International Women's Day yesterday, with the Australian Cricket men's team playing in Pakistan after decades – it is a privilege to in collaborate with the Australian High Commission to organise this cricket event for underprivileged girls.” “The Australian High Commission with the support of PCB always played a vital role in promoting women cricket and investing in the empowerment of women in Pakistan. Such events can play an important role in the development and promotion of women cricket. We look forward to further strengthening our relationship,” she added.
The City School, DK Campus lifts General Trophy
  SB Report  KARACHI:-The City School DK Campus has won the General Trophy with (1150) points in the 3rd Students Olympic Games 2019. The City Pakistan Student Olympic Association organized the 3rd student Olympic Games 2019 from October 14 to 2019 at Hampton School Clifton Karachi. Basketball, Throw-ball, Futsal Table Tennis Cricket Rope Skipping Dodge-ball yoga and Gymnastic events were part of the games. On this occasion Maqbool Arian president Pakistan student Olympic Association, Ivan Fedrick Rittman, secretary Pakistan student Olympic Association, Shahnawaz Alam president Karachi student Olympic Association, Nadeem Aslam secretary Karachi student Olympic Association, Imdad Hussain director yoga and gymnastic student Olympic Association, Darakhshan Ahsan member Pakistan student Olympic Association, Shakeel Ahmed coordinator Sports of city school DK campus, Abu Sufyan, Member, PSOA, Arshad Khgan, PSOA, Adnan Tareen, Member PSOA, Adnan Vohra, V. President PSOA, Jaffar Ali Shah, S.V. President PSOA  and school team officials and coaches were also present. Maqbool Arain, President PSOA announced the Pakistan Students teams would be participating in 6th Students Olympic International Games 2019 at Johor Bahru University Malaysia from 26th to 30th December 2019. Ali Bahawni, Vice Principal Hampton School and Peer Danish business men was the chief guest in closing ceremony. Both distributed Trophies, Medals, Certificates, Shields and gift hampers among the winners.
