Sheikh Talal Al Ahmed Al Jabr becomes OCA president, 45 member countries attend the meeting

Bangkok (Thailand): President, Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) Lt. General (Retd) Syed Arif Hasan has been reelected as Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) in the 42nd assembly held in Bangkok, Thailand.
As many as 45 member countries associated with OCA participated in the meeting. In the meeting, Sheikh Talal Al Ahmed Al Jabr was elected as the president of the Olympic Council of Asia for the next four years, while the president of the Pakistan Olympic Association, Lt. Gen. R. Arif Hassan, was elected as the vice president.
Secretary of the Pakistan Olympic Association Khalid Mahmood also participated in the General Council meeting. Meanwhile, the Olympic family, various sports federations, organizers, athletes, and officials congratulated Lt. Gen. (Retd) Syed Arif Hasan for being re-elected as the vice-president of the Olympic Council of Asia.
