Four foreign players qualify for the Main Draw, as the matches to be played at PTF Tennis Complex

ISLAMABAD: Four overseas players, Pudit Phapatsirikul, Kivanc Bedir, Thanathip Poti and Abdul Baasith Cader qualified for the Main Draw of the ITF (International Tennis Federation) Pakistan Juniors Tennis Championships Leg-1 after winning their respective matches on Sunday here at PTF-SDA (Pakistan Tennis Federation-Syed Dalawar Abbas) Tennis Complex, Garden Avenue. The 32-player Main Draw matches will start from Monday at the same venue. Likely, president PTF Salim Saif-ullah will grace the opening ceremony as chief guest.
Results (Boys’ Singles Qualifying Final Round):
Pudit Phapatsirikul (THA) beat Gehash Tissera (Sri) 6-2, 6-0
Kivanc Bedir (TUR) beat Mikhail Svanidze(GEO) 7-5, 6-4
Thanathip Poti (THA) beat Abdul Baasith Cader (SRI) 5-7, 6-2 (10-8)
Azat Sarsembaev (KAZ) beat Hyugo Sawada (JPN) 6-1, 6-1
