ISLAMABAD: Islamabad have won the title of PAF T20 Cricket Trophy for the Blind after beating Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) in the final by six wickets at PAF Cricket Ground E-9, Islamabad on Monday.
Islamabad won the toss and elected to field first. AJK scored 288 for the loss of one wicket in 20 overs Faisal was the top scorer with 138 runs. Islamabad chased the target in 19.4 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Matiullah scored brilliant knock of 155 runs and awarded man of the match. Mehtab from AJK took 2 wickets.
In the prize distribution ceremony of the event chief guest Air Commodore Shahid Raza Khan, ACAS (A) distributed prizes among players and acknowledges spirit of the players. Mohammad Asif from Peshawar was the best player in B1 Category, Kamran Akhtar was the best player in B1 and Matiullah from Islamabad was awarded player of the Tournament in B3 Category. Nisar Ali from AJK was named best wicket keeper of the Tournament.
