The final score-line was 26-24, 25-20, and 25-20.This historic series win marks a significant achievement for both the Pakistan Volleyball team and the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF). Spiker, Hammad Arshad was declared the best player of the match.The Sarsabz Volleyball Series 2024 kicked off today with a thrilling encounter in an exhilarating display of skill and determination. The final score-line was 25-22, 25-22, and 25-20, as the hosts made a significant achievement for the Green Shirts and the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF).The match was a testament to the hard work and preparation of the Pakistani players, who demonstrated exceptional teamwork and strategy on the court. Australian volleyball players arrive in Islamabad for 3-match Series
Green Shirts to face Australia on May 29 at Liaquat Gymnasium Pakistan Sports ComplexAbdul Jabbar FaisalISLAMABAD: The Australia volleyball squad have arrived here to play a three-match bilateral series against hosts Pakistan, as the opening match of the tie will be played at Liaquat Gymnasium Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad on May 29, 2025.According to an official of the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF), a strong Australian volleyball squad arrived in Islamabad on Sunday ahead of a three-match volleyball series against the hosts Pakistan. This marks the first time the Australian team will play on the soil of Pakistan. Murad Jehan will lead Pakistan in the series.The top officials of PVF welcomed the visiting team at Islamabad International Airport. The Australians will hold a practice session on May 27 (Monday) at the venue. Nehemiah Mote will lead Australia in the series. Daniel Ilott will act as head coach, with James Begley, Alec Walker, and Brendan Garlick serving as coaches.Names of Australia Team: Nehemiah Mote (captain) Luke Perry, Arshdeep Dosanjh, Jackson Holland, Trent O’dea, Matthew Aubrey, Max Senica, Beau Graham, Thomas Heptinstall, Sam Flowerday, Nicholas Butler, Ethan Garrett, William D’arcy Miles, and Jacob Baird.The first match of the three-match series will be held on May 28 at Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad. Training Tour: Pakistan Volleyball women leave for Italy
Sports Bulletin ReportISLAMABAD: The National Women's Volleyball Team of Pakistan on Sunday left Islamabad for Itly for a training tour, aimed at preparing them for upcoming international tournaments.The team, led by Captain Amna and Vice-Captain Rashida Shakeel, will be under the expert guidance of Head Coach Alessandra Campedelli from Italy, assisted by Pakistani coaches Malik Zahid and Waseem Rana.Before their departure, Chairman of the Pakistan Volleyball Federation, Chaudhry Mohammad Yaqoob, and President PVF, Sohail Khawar Mir, met with the team and expressed their best wishes for a successful tour.Captain Amna said: “During stay in Italy, the team will engage in intense training sessions and play practice matches against local clubs, gaining valuable exposure and experience. We are grateful for the support of our federation and the opportunity to train in Italy," said Captain Amna.”

Hosts Pakistani spikers outclass Turkmenistan 3-1 in a well-contest 4 games matchAbdul Jabbar FaisalISLAMABAD: Pakistan posted third back-to-back victories in the Central Asian Volleyball League (CAVL) after thrashing Turkmenistan 3-1 in a four-game thriller at Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad on Monday. Pakistani spikers have defeated Afghanistan and Sri Lanka in their first two fixtures at the same venue.On Monday, in the last match, Pakistani players toiled hard on the court to overcome heavyweights in a nail and bite all four games. Green Shirts did well and exhibited top-class games to get the upper hand in the match by earning a 1-0 lead after finishing the game at 25-23, as at one stage the game was leveled 19-19 and 20-20. Visitor team Turkmenistan bounced back in the match after claiming the second game after conceding 21 points.There was tough competition in the next two games, as the spikers of both teams were not ready to bow out from the court. Finally, Pakistan overcame their opponents in 3rd and 4th games on tie-beak, as the final score-line was 25-23, 21-25,26-24, and 27-25. India to host Volleyball Club World Championships in December
Sports Bulletin Report Dubai (UAE): Volleyball World and FIVB announced India as the host nation for the Men’s Club World Championships for two years in partnership with the RuPay Prime Volleyball League powered by A23, India’s top professional volleyball league. As the host nation, the winners of the RuPay Prime Volleyball League in 2023 and 2024 will represent India in the tournaments, where they will face fierce competition against established clubs from the top volleyball nations from around the globe like Italy, Brazil, Iran etc.   The championships will be staged between December 6 and 10, 2023. The host city will be announced later this year. The tournament brings the best of international volleyball to India, where the sport is seeing a meteoric rise since the commencement of the RuPay Prime Volleyball League in 2022. For over 20 years, the Volleyball Club World Championships have featured the best men’s professional clubs from around the world, competing for the title of World Champions and a share of over USD 350,000 in prize money.  The FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça F° said: "The FIVB is delighted to bring the best of men’s club volleyball to India for the first time ever!
