 Junior National Tennis Championship: Bilal Asim bags brace of titles
LAHORE:-Bilal Asim (SICAS) clinched two crowns in the Bank of Punjab (BoP) Junior National Tennis Championship 2022 that concluded here at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah on Thursday. In the boys U-18 final, Bilal Asim (SICAS) played well against Mahatir Mohammad and outpaced him with a score of 6-3, 6-4 to clinch the title. In the boys U-18 doubles final, the pair of Hashesh Kumar and Mahatir Mohammad defeated Bilal Asim and Ahmad Nael 4-6, 6-4, 10-5. Bilal also won the boys U-16 final to double his crowns as he outsmarted Asad Zaman 6-1, 6-2. In the boys U-14 final, Hamza Roman had to struggle hard to beat spirited Hamza Ali Rizwan (LGS Paragon) 6-2, 2-6, 10-8. In the boys U-14 doubles final, Hamza Roman/Taimoor Khan outlasted Amir Mazari/Sameer Zaman 4-2, 4-0. The boys U-12 final between Omer Jawad and Hamza Ali Rizwan proved to be a dull match, where both the players kept on playing defensive games and took more than two hours to finish the final, which was won by Omer Jawad 7-6(4), 4-6, 10-4. In the boys/girls U-12 doubles final, the talented pair of Abubaker Talha (Wapda) and Zohaib Afzal Malik (SA Gardens) defeated the duo of Ismail Aftab and Omer Jawad 4-0, 2-4, 11-9. In the boys/girls U-10 final, M Shayyan Afridi toppled Hamza Sohail 4-2, 4-1. In the girls U-12 final, Zunaisha Noor beat Esha Rabi 4-1, 4-0. In the girls U-18 final, Natalia Zaman beat Ashtafila Arif 6-3, 6-0 while in the ladies singles final, Noor Malik beat Asfa Shahbaz 6-1, 6-2. In the boys/girls U-8, Ahsan Bari won the gold medal, Daniyal Afzal Malik silver and Daniyal Abdullah bronze medal. In the boys/girls U-6, Mamnoon Bari grabbed the gold medal, Hadi Ali silver and Hamza Suhai bronze medal. Asim Hafeez Qureshi, Executive Vice President Bank of Punjab, graced the occasion as chief guest and distributed prizes, shields and certificates among the winners and top performers. Gatorade Trophy: Adnan Khan outplays Mohammad Ali in final
Sports Bulletin Report KARACHI:-Adnan Khan outplayed Mohammad Ali in the Men’s Singles final of the 2nd Gatorade Trophy Tennis Championships concluded at Union Club Karachi Sunday. The final score-line was 6-2 and 6-3. Marium Shahid finished winner in Round Robin,won her last match against Aiman Haris with 8-2 Score. Runner-up was Eschelle Asif. Dhuraf Das was winner in Under 15 final, he beat Taimoor Ansari with 4-2, 7-5 score. Imdad Ali beat Mahd Shehzad in Under-13, as the final score-line was 4-2 and 4-2. Syed Shakir Hussain of Pakistan Beverage Ltd was the chief guest while Hira Shamim, chairperson Medical & Sports Committee Karachi Bar Association was guest of Honor. Abdul Hameed (Karate), Ghulam Yaseen ( Dodgeball), Kalim Awan (Cycling), Dr.  Iqbal Memon (LUMHS Jamshoro), Mujhtiar Bhatti (Sindh University (Jamshoro), Qudsia Raja (international Tennis Umpire), Erum Bukhari (Beach Tennis), Ishrat Zehra , (Para Sports Pakistan), Farha Riaz (KTA), Raisa Ashfaq (KTA), Perween Akhter (KTA) Fatima  Aziz ( social activist). Gatorade Trophy Tennis Championship commences at Union Club
Ishrat Zehra KARACHI:-The 2nd edition of the Gatorade Trophy Tennis Championship commenced at Union Club. Mohammad Khalid Rehmani, Vice President Pakistan tennis Federation formally opened the Championship. The Championship is being sponsored by Pakistan Beverage Limited, organized by Karachi Tennis Association. Prominent who graced the first day were Shakir Hussain, Area Manager Pakistan Beverage Ltd, Mohammad Shaikr, (NGO Rahnuma). Seema Shakir (NGO Rehnuma), Amber Nazir (Dodgeball), Raisa Ashfaq (KTA), Perween Akhter ( KTA), Sarwar Hussain ( KTA).  Mohammad Asif of  PAF Base Masroor beat Saad Ahmed in straight sets 2-0 with the score-line of 6-1 and 6-2 in the opening match of the championship. Gatorade Trophy Tennis Championship starts from May 28

According to an official, the events are , Men’s Singles Men’s Doubles, Ladies Singles,  Juniors Under 17 Singles,  Under 15 Singles, Under 13 Singles , Under 11 Singles, Under 9 Singles, Under 7 Singles and Under 15 Doubles Mohammad Khalid Rehmani will act as Tournament Director & Referee while Qudsia Raja , Assistant Referee, Sarwar Hussain, Organizing Secretary. Ishrat zehra , Media Coordinator, Eibad Sarwar, Farha Riaz, Erum Bukhari, Fouzia Falak, Raisa Ashfaq, Perween Akhter , Touqeer Hashmi are the members.

Westbury National Tennis Championship: Shahab lifts the title
Sports Bulletin Report KARACHI:-Shahab Khan overcame Mohammad Ali 2-1 in the Men’s Singles final to lift the title of the 19th Westbury Tennis Championship that concluded at Modern Club Karachi. The final score-line was 6-1, 3-6 and 10-7. Rasheed Jan Mohammad, Chief Executive of Westbury Group was the chief guest at the final to distribute the prizes among the winners and runner-ups. Abdul Sattar of Modern Club was guest of honor. Also, Mohammad Khalid Rehmani , Ahmed Ali Rajpoot, Mahfoozul Haq, Sarwar Hussain ( STA) , Rafi Derbari ( HTA) , Imtiaz Sheikh  ( SOA) Mohammad  Saeed ( Dart Association ). Punjab Tennis: Triple crowns for Amir, two each for Abdur Rehman, Hajra
Sports Bulletin Report LAHORE:-Amir Mazari claimed triple crowns while Abdur Rehman and Hajra Sohail grabbed two titles each in the Talat Rafiq Punjab Junior Tennis Championship 2022 that concluded here at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah Saturday. In the boys U-16 final, phenomenal Amir Mazari played tremendous tennis against Abdur Rehman and overwhelmed him by 8-3 to clinch the title. Amir Mazari doubled his crowns, when he outpaced the same opponent - Abdur Rehman – with the same score of 8-3 in the boys U-14 final. Talented Amir completed the hat-trick of the titles, when he, partnering with Abdur Rehman, trounced the pair of Aalay Husnain and Eesa Bilal 6-2 in the boys U-14 doubles final.  Abdur Rehman (AAA Associates), who earlier, partnering with Amir Mazari, grabbed the doubles title, added another crown in his tally when he defeated her younger sister, Hajra Sohail, 8-6 in the boys/girls U-12 final. Sensational Hajra Sohail first earned the girls U-16 title by toppling Bismal Zia 8-1 in the final and then she completed the brace of her crowns, when she thrashed young Ehsan Bari by 8-0 in the boys/girls U-10 final.  PLTA Secretary Rashid Malik (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz) graced the concluding ceremony as chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners and top performers. Other notables present on the occasion were players and their families and tennis enthusiasts.

ITC Twin City Tennis: Muddassir Murtaza stuns HamzaAsim 2-0 in final

Punjab Junior Tennis Championship 2022: Abdur Rehman, Hajra in finals
Sports Bulletin Report LAHORE:-The rising stars Abdur Rehman and Hajra Sohail reached the finals of their respective categories in the Talat Rafiq Punjab Junior Tennis Championship 2022 here at PLTA Courts on Friday. In the boys U-14 semifinals, Abdur Rehman (SICAS) played well against M Sohaan Noor and outpaced him by 8-5 while talented Amir Mazari (Aitchison) took little time to brush aside young Eesa Bilal by 8-1.  In the boys/girls U-12 semifinals, Abdur Rehman continued his good show and played tremendous tennis against Aalay Husnain and outsmarted him by 8-2 while emerging star Hajra Sohail exhibited her prowess against spirited Bismal Zia and outlasted her by 8-1.  In the girls U-16 semifinals, Hajra Sohail maintained her supremacy and this time, she trounced young Fatima by 8-1. In the boys/girls U-10 semifinals, Hajra Sohail totally blanked her opponent Taha Asad and crushed him by 8-0 while Ehsan Bari beat Ameen Abdullah 8-3. All the finals will be played tomorrow (Sunday) followed by the colorful concluding ceremony.  Both brother and sister, Abdur Rehman Sohail and Hajra Sohail are brilliant students of renowned coach Rashid Malik (SBP Head Coach) and they are trained and coached well by the former Davis Cupper – Rashid Malik – who dubbed him as future tennis stars. According to Malik, both the kids have potential and with more hard work, training and facilities, these kids can do wonders at a higher level.
